365GT4 2+2 18231 for sale on ebay

Does anyone know the story on this one? Interestingly the 330 with the SN exactly 10,000 lower than this car is also listed on ebay at the moment.

I'm really surprised as to how much more this car is going for over the typical 400.

Is it really worth double?

 

I don't feel it is worth any more than $40k - it doesn't seem very original: the red cam covers, the 400 chin spoiler, and the seats look like they might be from a 400 (the gold 365 that was for sale recently in CT had different seats).

The entire interior including the dash and the doorskins is from a late 400. Steering wheel, the carpet in the trunk and, as you mentioned, the red cam covers are not original either. It might be a car in very good condition but it sure is far from original. The price is pure fantasy...

 

#49041 a Blue/blue 5-speed. It was a pretty nice car. I almost bought it.
The one I bought is just a bit nicer.

The interior is from an early (Series 1) not a late one.
