Yeah, and how expensive could a Countach engine and transmission be anyhow. :)

Good luck to the future owner...looks like a real project.

Ummm, it looks like a replica to me.

The scoops and rear engine cover aren't right, lest it's a very early model I've never seen?

Looks like an Annivesario to me.

    Definitely has been wet.

It will probably cost more to bring back than you can imagine.

It will be worth it to the right person.

It could be sitting six months or 12+ years. The question, is how long has it actually been sitting ?

It is a real 25th DD.

As far as value ? Countach auto values, are not the same world wide. It is possible that in Turkey, you have hi importation taxes on automobiles. I know a Gallardo owner in Turkey, that is going to bid on this car. - I hope he wins the car !

Remember that shop rates in Turkey, are much less than in either the U.S. or Europe. Leather restoration in Turkey, is very inexpensive. With this being the case, the restoration bill does not automatically start at 50K.

I think that the key word there is automatically. It's not just labor, parts are gonna be killer expensive too. I do hope whoever gets it does resto it though....poor car.

It would be really nice. However you cannot bring the car into the USA. The only way to get the car in, would be either a foreign worker permit, or to modify the car to meet epa/dot ($$$$$$) requirements. I also believe epa/dot has some kind of list, of what is importable after modifications. I am not sure this car, is on the list.

Someone could drive it across the border ! I know this has been done before.

The car has to be 25 years old, before the car can be imported into the USA.
It would not qualify, under the show and display permit.

The car is a go in either Canada or Europe !

much much easier for a guy in the country to deal with these things

    from wikipedia.
On 31 December 1995 the customs union between Turkey and the European Union came into effect. Goods can travel between the two entities without any customs restrictions. The Customs Union does not cover essential economic areas, such as agriculture, to which bilateral trade concessions apply, services or public procurement. The EU-Turkey Customs Union is one of the steps towards full Turkish membership of the European Union itself.

so according to that if your in an EU country you could import it without any customs complications
