I agrree. The moment Kimi came out in front of Alonso on the last sting - the race was over - the rest was a parade to the flag. Conservering the engines was the most logical thing to do for McLarens - they'll have to please MB in Germany in 2 weeks.
i'm not sure i'll blame RD on this, sure, it seems like a perfect excuse, but i think it's just some really rubbish rule by the FIA. they scrape this stupid rule, and we'll see some real racing right till the flag, not tuning down the engines after the 2nd stop. Pathetic.
Fact - LH beat Kimi to pole by .102 sec and Kimi had touched his wheel off course very briefly. Fact - Kimi set consistently faster laps during the race while on heavier fuel (and thusly, heavier fuel for quali, too). Question - what bear is best? False - Black bear.
