Here are a few clips I took this morning. Car is 355F1 with Capristo level II with Hyperflow cats. Sorry about the poor qualities of these clips (taken from a cheap camera)...I'll try to get a proper video recorder in the near future. First clip is of car at cold start: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Lryj2yK6kdE Next is car at idle with light revs (engine is now warmed up): http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZsIz7IVX3oA Last is car accelerating from 1st gear: http://youtube.com/watch?v=VD6OyFlMpCI
Does anyone know the set up on this 355. I like the way it sounds like a normal 355 until the valves open and all hell breaks loose. Apparently its limiter has been raised to 9000rpm. http://youtube.com/watch?v=0fIF6Nh7gCo
Sorry if my driving style didn't quite measure up to your manly standard. I didn't have the need to shift at rev limiter on every gear change... ...and besides, someone's got to live up to the true meaning of "355 sisterhood", right?
You did good PK!!! Everyone needs a little razz once in a while!! You have a 'capristo' and therefore nothing to prove . Here is a clip of my car when I had something to prove (pre-capristo ). Note: holding the camera with the right hand and shifting with the left.... http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f89/gothspeed/?action=view¤t=CIMG0557.flv
Hey Goth, thanks for the "sisterly" talk there...hahaha just kidding Since many new owners always seem to be asking how'd different exhaust systems would sound and stuff. I really like my set up of Capristo + Hyperflows so I thought I'd share examples of mine with everybody here and certainly weren't trying to prove anything. Perhaps we should have a separate and dedicated permanent thread of various video/sound clips of different exhaust systems on 348 and 355. Just so those new owners would have a reference for comparisons.
