    Does anyone know what the deal is with the MC12 in the US. I know none were ever officially imported. Is it possible to import it as a gray market car? Just curious.

    Those are gray market cars imported as show-and-display cars.

    You are right, only converted cars under show or display. I made and inquiry as to the cost to do the show or display conversion and was told it "was very expensive".

    Like said above, you can register them under Show or Display. Don Wallace had one here in FL and sold it recently iirc. I took some pics of it at the Celebration festival in '06.

    From what I grasp from the thread you can drive it in cali but it has to be registered in a different state.
