    mmmmm yep!

piece of **** that car was. but it looked so good with that new red paint. this review sums it up:

"The Chevette was just a horrible turd - but it was no surprise from the company that brought you the Vega."

i have a GM product today, ie, Pontiac GTO (orange), and it's fantastic. not so witht the Chevette. it has this POS Isuzu engine that had so little power that even with the manual 4spd i had to carefully premeditate when hills would arise so i could build up a head of steam just to make it up them. this was as embarrassing as it was annoying.

and it demanded a constant stream of repairs that seemingly had no end.

My brother-in-law had a orignal 69' GTO judge that he sold for $5000 in the 80's. that car is probably worth over $50,000 now. He ended up buying a Lemans and turning it into a judge after he sold the real thing. He stuck over $5000 to convert it and sold that one to a friend of mine for $6000. My freind had nothing but problems with it after he bought.

    Dark metallic blue, of course!;)

Seriously, yellow is my favorite color, but aside from toy cars, I have yet to own a yellow one.
I think yellow and orange looks great on sports cars, but I find that Porsches are unbelievably stunning in silver.

(PAPster, could I get banned for saying Porsche on this forum?:D)

Yellow is my favorite color too but not sure if i would want a yellow car. Although some on this site look awesome. Your favorite color tells you something about your personality.

    Ferraris = yellow
Lambos = Rosso Vic (metallic red)
Aston-Martins = yellow, but not their original pale yellow; instead, the '07 speed yellow.

On a Ferrari my favorite would be any of the Blues. TDF, Nart, Pozzi, Sera, all look amazing.
On a Lamborghini it would have to be Ithica Verde.

These guys are so close to having the correct answer. I feel as though they should be given partial credit.

Best color I've seen on a car is the Acura NSX in Long Beach Blue. Blue is also my favorite color so that may have swayed me some. Unfortunately I don't have any blue cars right now. Maybe I'll add some blue to my silver car. For the classic Ferraris I like red, for some of the newer ones I like the metallic colors. TDf Blue, Argento and titanium are also nice.

I was eager to buy a 308/328 in blu sera with creme or beige interior, but they are rare.

I don't know whose car this is (pic posted on FChat), but it's stunning IMO:

LOL. The 996 I traded towards the Ferrari was metallic black ( basalt black ). Don`t I get some points for that?

Yes, your car is very nice Jon. :)

One of these days when I have some more time to spend in SD, I'll trade you for a ride in the 360.

Mods: can we give this man some points?

(You should have traded the 996 and kept the paint. I like the white ground cover there, whatever you call it.)

I call it every 4 letter word on the book. BTW I wish I could have kept the paint. I`m sure they did`nt make very many black metallic 328s.
