    I like the painted bottom. My car came with black and the previous owner had it painted including the roof. I think it makes it look more modern.

    The painted bottom makes the car look better and newer as well.

    The main advantage to a flat black paint is that it is very easy to touch up paint chips on the front bumper. And for the few of you who are vying for concours honors the original look might be great.

    My car's roof and bottom was painted red by the previous owner but then he put the flat black over it again possibly because of the touch up issues.

    I am still on the fence whether I should keep the flat black or remove it to expose the red underneath.
