    Anthony they are everywhere on Ebay--You got a great deal if both for $40--The UT yellow is worth well over that by itself...-Happy buying.

    HW Elite 599 Panamerica that I'm putting LED Head & Tail lights into. The front looks like it's Xenon or HID when lit up. The battery will go inside the car when done, hence the charging jack.
    I did this to a 612 a while back & a few people asked for pics of the wiring but I didn't want to take it apart again. I tried to get some shots showing it lit up but they didn't turn out so good. I will post pics of it all together eventually.

    On this same note, I have few models that are almost ready. Robbie yours is of course the priority.
    However I think this is the time to mention something. Hotwheels drive me insane. This is by far the most inconsistent company I have ever known right down to the materials they use. This last model for 285ferrari has been the biggest pain in my butt. I am not sure if the model I started with was made on the end of the day on friday when everyone was rushing to go home or if it was the first model made on a monday when everyone was still drunk from sunday. The fitments of the parts was horrible and needed many corrections and there was something definitely wrong with the plastic they were using. It is causing really weired chemical reaction and painting the bumpers proved unsuccessful time and time again. It is the first time I am having problems with a 355 spider (and it is not the first I've worked on) but NOT the first time having issues with HW models. For example their 456M is a molding disaster. The whole run of 456s have different alloy in their bodies. Some people have complained of weired "shadows" appearing in the finish with time. Some have experienced falling paint. Mine (that I customized as convertible) was more fragile than glass. I have never before seen a die cast car that is brittle.
    The reason why I am saying all this is just so all of you guys beware when you customize HW models. One time they can be a dream to work with, and next one down the line can be your worst nightmare.

    Robbie did not send me cars to work on..... indeed, I am waiting him to do some repaint for my F355 Spyders.... LOL.... still a long line to wait for his time.....

    Lucky has a couple of 355's he is working on for me right now. I am getting ready to redo the first blue one I did. Strip it down and try again better this time..

    I talked to HWC Brian (the mod on the Hot Wheels site)
    He said there will be more Elites next year. I also talked a marketing director on the same forum and the FXX will also be out in 1:64.
