    i m looking for a new camera, in this moment i ve got a canon a80power shoot, exellent for starting is included a interresting profesional mode.
    so today there s two nice camera like the 400D Canon 10,1Mgpixels with lenses 18-55m, and also a Nikon D40X with 10Mg pixels with the same lenses
    what do you think about those material which one is the best for you?

    i forget to write the Nikon received for the 2007 the awards from TIPA
    tecnical image press association....but for me this awards looks much more
    optional i prefer to have the decision from users.

    Basic Canon S2IS. It takes some decent shots, if it had a better operator it would do a far better job.

    Canon has a bigger selection, it depend's what camera you want, Canon has good digitals and SLR's and Nikon has good SLR camera's

    sur canon gets a large selection of camera but the quality of lens, and the quality of material, i think nikon look better..Canon look much more
    modern and technologic than nikon so i will take time before to make an oder.

    I don't think that's quite true. They both have huge selection of bodies/lenses/accessories and both have great DSLR's and SLR's.

    i saw this afternoon the Canon 350D vs Nikon D40 DX the both are nearly the same material, a little preferance for the Nikon the offer is much more interresting tripod+camera bag included less 800€.
    the both rae exellent quality and semi pro material for a good price.

    in my opinion

    Nikon is # 2

    well i ve checked since last day, and the new range of Nikon look pretty good material, start with a semi pro like D80/D200 they are exeptional bet 890/1330€ ..(D80 + AFS 18/70mm. 1100€)

    Canon EOS 30D EFS 18-55mm 8 mpixels start to 860€

    now i want to see the material in a shoop, probably this week end...

    I also have a Nikon N55 Film SLR and a Nikon CoolPix L4 Point and Shoot

    ok heres one i took yesterday, fine jpeg quality on auto

    i need help with 2 things
    does anyone know a good program for quick resizes, i hate having to open photoshop just for a resize and i need a good program for importing and organzing photos i have been using iphoto and i really dont like it and i am hopign there is something better

    D70 it s really performant camera, i m thinking with that one or something similar, D80 D100, the D200 i think it will be enought for me.

    yes i do think they could be more vivid but its really a great camera for the price i only paid about $530US. i just got my camera so i havent gotten into all the settings yet so there might be something for more vivid color, overall i am very happy with the camera, comparing it to my friends d50 i like much much better

    I love it and have never regretted buying it. Its so versatile and continues to put out amazing photos even though i've taken close to 45,000 on it

    After having buy my Canon, I tested a nikon D70, I had been struck by the speed and facilitates for use this material, today changing mark makes me doubt.

    Make sure you rea through the owners manual. I learned a lot from it.
