Instead of our monthly dinner lets all get together on Saturnday night with family and celebrate great fortunes and great friends.

We will Barbque in Ron's honor. Drinks and food and good friends. Everybody is welcome.
I am open to locations but we can always do it at the warehouse (inside AC, outside plenty of parking). Suggestions, please email or PM me. Another option is to do it at a public park with a BBQ hut but then we are subject to weather. (Lloyds Park north of Dania Beach would come to mind).

This is intended to get us all together and have a party with Ron celebrating a new Birthday for him. July 1, born again.

    Oh yeah...no NSX's please! :D

Damn... we'll be in Orlando for Craig's UCF graduation - otherwise I'd volunteer to do the bbq slow-cook in the smoker; guess no matter what, the schedule conflicts for someone.

Oh no, not again, but then is it okay if we bring the Solara Super Car! :)
Although I'm gonna need velvet ropes if we take that one. :)

Excellent idea, maybe we can meet somewhere and everyone bring a barbeque/picnic type of dish i.e. potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, corn on the cob, deserts etc? I'll try to think of a place, may have something in mind.

Bill, great idea for anyone attending. We can develop a list of items/food for participants to bring. We will make it a joint effort.
Martin, great suggestion. Lets do it.

I will work with the schedule. Bill T. has suggested a dinner for the 4th up in WPB already so we will likely put a different date on it and host the regular monthly dinner in Dade on the 2nd.
    We'll work this out today.

Any Central Florida folks interested in doing a caravan down? Ordinarily I wouldn't consider that long of a trek, but for Ron ...

    Okay:

We will definetly have to do this on a different day.!!!

Probably towards the middle or end of August. I blanked a little on the time in between. This may be a little too soon.

So I will sit with Ron tonight and go through the calendar.

The SSF dinner on Thursday the 2nd is a GO then!!! Miami Dade, probably Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

I would like to offer the cafeteria at the company that I work for to hold this event. The location is 4 minutes in either direction off of I-95 between Sample Rd. and Copans on Andrews Ave. Extension in Pompano Beach. The cafeferia will hold about 45 people and contains snack and soda machines, coffee makers, microwaves, as well as a sink, counters with outlets, and table space for "the spread". Restrooms are located just across the hall. The cafeteria is all glass on the side that overlooks the parking lot which is only 8' away. The parking lot will be completely empty as well. It would be a good central location if that will work. :)

Bill, sounds like a great suggestion, or at Martin's warehouse. Is this a "bring your own" food event or are we going to have it catered?

Hey... since it won't be on the 4th, Barrie and I can be there, and I can make smoked pork bbq - some of you have had the opportunity to try it, and I can make enough to feed dozens. I just need an outside area, and about 4 hours to "let the magic work". Count us in for whenever and wherever.

I was thinking along the line of making this a big deal kind of thing. Really BBQ right there fresh. Have a couple of BBQs working with a juicy piglet and some burgers for the kids and steaks... If it is big enough we can get a band to play. I will get tables and chairs or benches organized and we sit and have a grand old time. Kids running around...

Someone will have to make a mix CD of hair bands as I think that is Ron's favorite music! And I would love to try the B&G BBQ.

I will re-announce it once we have the date set.
Sorry. Just thought it was a great thing to get everybody together.
Of course it would noly be open to Supercars like NSX, Tibbys, Mini Coopers, BMW Ms, not to Lambos etc. :D
