Is Alonso playing dirty to undermine Lewis?

has a store about Alonso maybe going slow on Fridays so Lewis would
either copy a bad setup, or figure out his own setup which with less experience may not be the best. If this is true, then Alonso would be hurting his team and himself in the long run and Lewis will just learn quicker how to setup his car. Could be the british press making excuses for Lewis.

Even if Alonso was, who cares? It's each drivers responsibility to set up the car to their liking with the best results. Don't blame it on anyone else. You want to be a champion? Learn how to work the setup of the car without having your hand held.

By this point he ( and more importantly his engineer ) should know how to set up the car to his likes.
If he has to copy FA, and thus not learn himself, then he is setting himself up for something like this.
FA is in his rights as he is chasing the title and his prime competitor is LH.

You need to stop drinking the race day beer before the race I think Kimi has "awoken" and he should now take over the team and WDC charge.

 

Hammilton has already admitted that the problem (with last race setup) was his own.

Much to do about nothing. Each driver is responsible for their set up. The statement above tells us two things. One, Fernando's set up was available for Hamilton to copy if he wanted to. Two, Himilton chose to go a different way.

I suppose a third would be Fernando is better at setting up the car.

 

There's the answer in a nutshell. Lewis gambled and got spanked-but still was lucky enough to get on the podium due to Massa's problem.

Meltdown? Aren't they still in the lead of both the drivers and constructors points? Second and third at the last race? Yeah really melting down there. The one in meltdown mode is Massa, he's gonna start whining again like he did in France if he keeps getting beat by Kimi......

 

And a fourth would be that LH is too politically savy to decry FA's shenanigans publically.

 

There in is the problem, there is no proof of anything like this from Alonso. if you look closely at the practice times Alonso is usually P1. If he were doing anything like this he wouldn't be (in P1). It's just the British (gutter) press making excuses for LH getting beat at Silverstone. If he makes no excuses then they shouldn't either.

 

Lewis got 100% spanked all weekend!!. End of story.

Only got pole because he had less fuel on board. The British press will ruin this guy ...

Ruined the sport; and yes in some ways LH ... but the ideal driver is a clock work mouse, ie. exactly the same thing every lap, never gets emotional, never makes mistakes.

Whatever small chance LH has left to demonstrate his individuality will be undermined by the stupid British press ...

I myself see the British GP as the end of the lucky run he's had. I believe Alonso has found that extra something that we know he has and will drive away from LH from now on, if he can control the Spanish temprement (sp?) ... Pete
