I'm such a camera nobody! I have a Fuji FinePix F30 and love it. Small, fast, easy to use, cheap, and great pics. I use it for posting here and sending pics of the kid to family. Prints come out well using shutterfly. I know, not art; but it works for me -dsd

I got a new Camera about 5 days ago... Canon SD900 digital camera, it has 10 MP and has a 2.5 LCD screen, this camera is good for me because it turns on fast and takes good fast pictures. Plus its small so i can just put it in my pocket, cost me about 540
I'm looking to buy my first Digital SLR camera. I've been using a simple 6 mp point-&-click one. I'm not a professional photographer but I'm looking for a big improvement in the quality of the digital pictures that I take. I've looked at a few retail stores and the 3 cameras that interest me are the Nikon D40, Nikon D80, and the Canon Rebel XTi. Cost is not my primary concern. These cameras are in the $600 - $1200 range. Which of those three cameras would you think would be best for me or is there one that is even better?
In my opinion the D80 is the best if you don't care about how much you spend, but if your on a tight budget get a D40 with a Polarizing filter (Thats what I did) and it will take great pictures. From what i've heard of the XTi the XT is better.
