430CS debut at Pebble Beach next month

I have heard from a good source that the 430CS will make the debut at pebble beach next month.

 

I heard the samething. Anyone else here this?

 

Not that I doubt you guys, but that seems like an odd place to debut the car. I would think that they would chose some international auto show. I hope you guys are right.

I receive an invitation from FNA when they are unveiling a new car for North America (599 as an example) at Monterey.....nothing yet. The factory also invokes plant tour moratoriums when early production for a new model is on the line....could be, but I haven't heard anything. I'd guess...and this is only a guess mind you, that they will be bringing the 60th anniversary hoopla to the Monterey next month.

 

It's supposed to debut at Frankfurt Auto Show which begins September 15th. I'd doubt they'd upstage that and launch in August at Monterey.

 

I plan on being there for four days so if it is there I'll take an insane amount of pictures for everyone. Incidently, I am picking up my new Spyker C8 at this show and can hardly wait. I had to tell someone. Nobody i know, knows what it is and therefore could care less. Well... now that I think about it... i'm guessing all of you could care less too

Yes 100% it will be at Monterey this year. Can wait to get mine. I wonder when US Cars come.

the car may not even come to the US at all ...

 

It isn't going to be Monterey. Friend ran into someone who should know (Ferrari Management) who said Germany was the intro.

If true, then Monterey is the world debut of the "430 Scuderia."

I'm trying to remember where they initially launched the 599 because it was at Monterey last year?

Man...............you would almost think that Ferrari managment doesnt even know when it will launch with all these stories emerging. Which one is correct.........f*ck knows!!

 

I was told from reliable sources that it will be called "430 Pista" or something like that. Does anyone know if it will get a power upgrade?

All is speculation. I would however not underestimate the clout that Monterey carries. Pebble Beach pulls auto enthusiasts from all over the globe, don't forget the P4's debut their last year.

 

I think the World-wide launch for the 599 was at Geneva. The Monterey unveiling last year was for North America.

Wasn't the 575 SuperAmerica shown at pebble to a small audience a few years ago? Maybe the 430CS/LP/whatever will be shown to a small amount of people at Monterey, and officialy revealed at Frankfurt?

Yes that is 100% correct. Belive it or not. This will be one hot ferrari for track days.

 

I'll put some pics up when I get it. I currently have a black one and love it. The new one is RED. I can't wait. It is almost as fast as the 360 but it handles poorly comparatively speaking. But, it DOES have Louis Vuitton leather throughout. Chicks dig it
