Will? Yeah right. "Sorry" isn't even in that man's vocabulary. He would be eaten alive before he apologised to Ferrari.

Only if the races are shown on Speed TV since Fox doesn't bother with any pre and post race shows.

Unfortunately there aren't more teams in the running for the championship. If there were I wouldn't feel as reserved about punishing McLaren. Even if they did do highly unsportsmanlike/illegal things I'd rather see a legitimate fight for the title with Ferrari winning instead of Kimi and Felipe walking away with it unchallenged.

There is still a good chance that Kimi will clinch this title. If the FIA takes away points from Alonso and Hami, they effectively devalue Kimi's title. Everybody will look at him as a non worthy champion.

OTOH if they don't intervene AND Kimi bags the title, he'll look like a super hero.

Some people on here want a Ferrari Champion at all cost. I want a worthy world champion.

It's a catch 22 and that's what sucks. If it is found that McLaren broke the rules they should be punished, but punishing McLaren hurts our credibility for winning the championship as much as it hurts them losing it.

They could take manufactures points and not drivers points....that would hurt the right people. Or maybe just a big fine.

It sounds kind of right when you first hear it - but when you think about it more, there is a problem...if the driver's points are won with an unfair car, how can they be legitimized?

You do understand that the case might be made that Hamilton is getting the true raw deal here - win or lose, everybody will say he did it for a team that cheated and with an unfair advantage.

But, I would not at all be surprised to see the FIA do something like what he said...most probably, the big fine. Politically, I don't see them hurting Hamilton's points.

look guys whether u like McLaren and Ron Dennis or loath one or both the simple facts that are KNOWN atm include one very important one that ppl seem to be forgetting or deliberately overlooking.

the documents seem to have been found at a mclaren employees house - NOT the mclaren factory.

now taking this as a known fact we also know that if those docs were going to be used by mclaren then they would NEED to be at the factory, not an employees house.

unless more info comes to light it really does look like RD is innocent here.
