all F40's are equal, but some are more equal than others
512 Tea Are has a lot to say (and in an ebullienty excessive effusive manner no less) for someone who has never posted a pic of his car(s).
I'm guessing this was posted to "annoy" 512 lol, but the only reason the US cars had a few more ponies was to equal the weight difference with the Euros....we all know that .
True dat. But you have to admit, that he is an interesting read - definitely entertaining. I can see why some would consider him annoying but I rather enjoy his texts. Of course - Taken with a pure grain of salt on my end. I don't think that anyone can take him too seriously especially when he refers to America as a colony. Me thinks he would have been better suited to the 1890's than the 2000's. Luckily they didn't have the internet in those days .. Comrade Tea Are - Lets see a pic of your fabulous and light (mustache-less) 1992 Euro F40. Unmolested and how Enzo intended it albeit less safe than a US one. I would love to see it. You have an avatar and a profile pic - so I assume you know how to post pics.
That may be true. To me - this thread is both very entertaining and informative. I have learned a lot about F40's. And have laughed and smiled at the same time. Nothing in here is too serious - and I am a big fan of the dry English humor. Having originated from a Colony in Africa ... Best
Dear American Comrades: joe sackey, 410SA SA, SSINISTR SS, rodsky, carsinxs, rufmd, senna1994 plus Chaos from Wales and anyone else I may have missed without, malice, rancour or intent, I speak neither to offend nor listen to be offended. However, and all this notwithstanding, the 1992 Ferrari F-40 that resides here within the American Motherland of England, secreted deep within the sylvan epicentre of a certain mysterious arboricutural vicinage, and from whence all happiness is manufactured and which, every day at eventide is released, and therefrom diffused, to permeate throughout the hinterlands of England, and thence carried forth upon the warm trade winds to become dispersed within England's colonies - one of which is The United States of America. The Illustrious 1992 Ferrari F-40, and Quintessentially Original Version of the Indomitable Thaumaturgically Contumacious Leviathan Road Burning Behemothic Apocalyptical Dream Machine still reigns supreme set against the backdrop of the Moustached Heavyweight American Marauding Apocryphallic Mountebank. And yes, I do have images, all of which are locked within the infinite depths of this box-of-tricks which is empowered with a mindset all of its own creation and which I, am but a vicarious instrument of its maverick and vagarious thoughts and actions. Accordingly, it is the machine, and not I, of which I have no control whatsoever that emits the panegyric meanderings concerning the vastly superior capabilities of the English F-40 of which the U.S. version is such a poor rendition. Accordingly, please do not berate me further for the impolitic behaviour of this cyberistic ochlocractic machiavellian obfuscator as I am by nature meliorismic and pantisocratic to a brobdingnagian degree. I should be delighted and overwhelmed with the utmost glee if but I were sufficiently possessed of the omniscience to overwhelm the omnipotent power that guards this electronic pantheist. For it is a nefariously mendacious member of an iniquitously oligarchical coterie of misanthropic tortfeasors - and this is my plight. I have endeavoured to ply you all with the utmost concinnity thus to express the infinite quiddity of my plight. My most recent images are of the English F-40 equipped with a full complement of oars in readiness for the Ferrari Owner Club Concours at Broughton Castle in Northamptonshire which was cancelled due to the inclement weather causing the moat to oveflow - thus flooding the Concours arena and therefrom causing the event to be cancelled until September. I also have images of the it's twelve cylinder stablemate replete with the fitment of Formula One - Offshore Power Boat propellers to convey the aforementioned to the flooded wastelands of Northamptionshire. Regretfully, no one else was prepared to go to such trouble and, as previously mentioned, the event was cancelled. Therefore I am claiming, by default, the winning of all categoeies within the Ferrari Owner Club Concours 2007. And yes, it is still raining in England. With kind regards, 512 Tea Are - the teapotearaway
It appears the sanity spring has been wound too tightly and has exceeded its tensile strength limit. As is the case when encountering all foul vermin, perhaps if we ignore it, it'll just go away...
Gentlemen and others (you know who you are) - we have final irrefutable proof that the fellows who threw the tea overboard in Boston knew what they were doing....
Graham - if thats what your name is Mr. Tea Are - first of all good morning to you.. Secondly, please keep off the hard stuff, this early in the day, it can lead to greater problems. I know thats hard to believe but i've seen it happen.
Dear Comrades, Many of you are misbehaving very badly indeed today and when Joe Sackey rises, has his breakfast, and then observes your malevolence in so maliciously continuing in drifting his magnificent thread so severely off-topic he is likely to be frightfully irritated indeed. The American F-40 is the best F-40. It's excess weight keeps it firmly on the ground at the high velocity that all true Americans drive these projectiles. The front bumpers must never, ever, be referred to as a moustache and the seats are very nice indeed and far superior to those proper racing chairs as found on the English/Welsh version of the original F-40. It is good that the American F-40 has so many safety devices and that there is also a proper hook for the safety belts - not like the ghastly racing harness' fitted to the English/Welsh cars that grip one to the seat with such severity that one can hardly breathe. The wireless and stereo fitted as standard equipment to the US cars is also a good thing. Joe, I do hope this post will go some way in assuaging the behaviour of your compatriots who have gone so completely off the rails today and behaved so terribly inconsiderately toward you in their nefarious attempts to wreck this wonderful thread that you have created. 430 SA is by far the worst offender. Accordingly, I have spoken to the Goderators who have promised to keep a watching-brief on the proceedings and will, if proven to be necessary, banish 430 SA to the foot of the tabernacle of the ghastly Maclaren thread that has long since been cast into the cold wilderness of cyber ineptitude, there to languish amongst the rotting remains of kit cars ad nauseam. Best wishes from England With kind regards, 512 Tea Are
I heard that UK market F40's were actually rebodied Vauxhalls because the powers that be in Britain (Great was discarded as no longer applicable I believe), were concerned about the state of the British Car Industry and they required that each car sold in the UK had at least 85% local content. McLaren declined to participate as Woking, under the leadership of Emperor Dennis seceded from Britain.
Dear Comrade 430SA, I am doing my level best to ameliorate the desparate circumstances in which you are placing yourself. I do not know where Joe is today. Indeed, it may well be the case that he has flown off in a fit of pique brought about by the iniquitous fashion that this wonderful thread has been hijacked by the American contingent. I feel quite confident that Joe will soon recover from his abject despair and will return in quiet contemplation. And then, phoenix like, and imbued with the energy of Vulcan, god of fire himself, will again resume control of this thread and resolve all issues created by the wanton and nefariously vitriolic attempts to hijack it by his countrymen, and from whence he will observe the might in which I, from this side of Our Atlantic Ocean have fought the crusade of righteousness on his behalf. I am expecting him to write to our Queen Elizabeth - indeed the very same Queen of our colonies - one of which is of course The United States Of America. I have despatched a personal message to Joe with a heartfelt plea that he deals with you with the utmost understanding and leniency. With kind regards, 512 Tea Are

Good Afternoon Comrade Joe Sackey, Your return here today is most welcome and not a moment too soon and your presence will bring a welcome respite to the infidels from whom I have endeavoured to keep this thread at bay. And may I say how wonderful your motor car looks. With kind regards, 512 Tea Are
Wouldn't it be nice if the verbose chap from the former Great Britain would post a picture or two his rebodied Vauxhall F40 Great pics BTW Joe. I replaced my seats with racing seats and full Sabelt harness set, but I kept the entire assembly of the mouse belts and seats for future reinstallation if I ever decide to show the car.
