Forgive be because I'm not totally technologically inclined with these, is there any way you can ruin a phone or cause it not to work by damaging the circuit board ( for lack of better word) of the phone; and also have this damage be not noticeable to Verizon employee? I have been bound to this bs contract and using bs phones that keep breaking. I went in last week to just buy out the contract and they said if I just give them one more chance, and the phone still fails, they'll let me out of the contract. This is the 4th go around with them in the last 3 months and I'm just fed up with them.

good question, maybe drop it in a bowl of water for a while? Then once it has completely dried take it back

I had thought about this, I had always thought that water damage was pretty evident though.

There are stickers that they place on the phones that change color when the phone is exposed to excessive moisture. Unless you are one of the lucky few... you won't have one or several of these stickers on your phone. Otherwise dropping it in a bowl of water is a no go.

Don't. They can tell. There are decals that can show them if the phone has got wet

The water indicator decals, I'm guessing this is because a LOT of phones get wet from dropping into the, ahem, toilet?

I know a couple of people who did this. Wonder how many are lost this way. Must be hundreds of thousands.
