Welp, its official, I'm an owner!!!!!! I just closed the deal and took possession of her, her beautifulness, Bella, Bella 308. She's an 1984 308 GTSi, with 34,055 miles on the clock, she's a Red/Tan Beauty..... Bella. I've attached pictures below, as she's packed up and ready for her trip to my home. The former owner was very very sad to see her go, but I've given him visitation rights, he's welcome anytime. I'm the one on the Left, in the tie with the big smile, the former owner, Robert, is on the right, and while he is smiling, I think Bella broke his heart just a bit today, she was his for 16 years. I'm planning on keeping her for as long as possible, maybe 16 more More pictures when possible, going to take some this weekend. Anyone want to buy former mistress, Gertrude the 2000 Boxster S? Gentleman, let me re-introduce......... Bella, Bella 308. James in Denver Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holy shiite! Great news! (Hope that's not an IBM badge you're wearing . My Gertrude was a '90 Seville.* Seamus *I don't name my cars but my SO does. You don't want to know the name of my '78 308 .
Holy crap!! Someone hacked into James in Denver's FChat account. Or if this is real: Bravo. Sorry I didn't post sooner. Congrats, great car, great year - weird color, but oh well.
Congratulations James. I sold Oldyellow in April and it was tough to let her go. Damn good car. It went to a good home only 10 miles a way and is taken very good care of. I get to see it in my mirrors on occasion. You made a good choice in picking up a QV. You will like the drivability of the injected car as well as the 4-valve performance. Good luck and keep us posted. DJ
i think that's a Compaq badge James - congrats on the "new" ride. looks great. is this the same "Bella" that's posted in FerrariAds???
Yes, she was in Lousiville Colorado, a north suburb of Denver. She's just moved about 30 miles to the south. If you're in the DTC area, maybe you'll see her around. If anyone knows of a Red/Tan 360 6 speed, the former owner (A GREAT GUY, Robert) is looking for Bella's replacement. James in Denver
Congrats James! I know it's been a long time coming. You'll be glad you waited for the right car! But don't forget, we know who's been touching your Bella... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Great goin', James! Red/Tan GTS - perfect combo on these cars! Hope to see you on one of these upcoming drives!
Finally! Congrats! Dave PS: I'll give 15K for the boxter. Would be more, but I'm tired of hearing about it!
I have to say that I didn't think you'd ever jump. CONGRATS!!!! Would love to hear a first drive story and of course....more pics! Drive in good health and on safe roads! JIM
It's about time!!!!! Just kidding, you showed good patience in finding the right car for you. Looks fantastic, classic 308. Wish you all the best with your new find. Be safe, have a great time. Jeff
Now that is the look of a happy man.....congratulations on the 308.....now lets do something about that tie
For those of you who have not met James, let me tell you that he is a great person! I am glad that he finally purchased a Ferrari and now is part of the family. When I find the right 360, we are planning on getting together and going for a cruise. Anyone else in the Metro area let us know so hopefully we can all get together. Ooops, now that I am Ferrariless, am I still welcome here? James take good care of Bella, she has always treated me right, and she will do the same for you! Robert
