i have one hope: that it wasnt delivered to arafat or sadaam hussein ! imagine if it was one of their's !!!!!! i wouldnt be allowed in israel or maybe usa !

    Some people never learn....

Its interesting how you come on here and continue to make smart-ass comments such as the above (after I requested that you refrain), but at 7:21pm I see you are trying to call me on both my mobile and office telephone lines.... Whatever can it be that you want from me that is so important to you as to cause you to make those long distance phone calls ?? LOL. Does my possesion of an important document now put you in an awkward position such as to have the potential to make a financial impact upon your plans?

I will save this community the BS and send you a PM. I pray for your sake that there are no more smart-a$$ remarks :)

May I ask why you let your 79 go....did you have a Miura on the horizon? That HAD to be a hard decision.

    HOT car, Joe! :)
i bet the owner is happy with it

i know: miura SV is THE lambo to have
but such a good S1....HARD to find an other one as good to replace it
(i'd say it could become a serious collector item in years to come)

    Hi all Countach spotters,

Perhaps I have asked this before, but I would like to know wich Countach this is. Car was imported in Holland in the summer of 1982 I think. It is the signal turning lenses reversed, so the car could be destined for the Swiss market.
Car was owned by Mr. van Vliet here in Holland, an exotic car dealer. I think the car left the harbour of Rotterdam destined for the USA at the end of 1984 or beginning 1985. I had posters made of my pictures, and they were hanging on my bedroomwall in my youth. And yes, that's me sitting in the car 15 years old, hihi!

The car was white, rims also painted white, interior blue, including the dashboard and steering wheel! Here are some pictures...

    Anybody have any idea?

    Ciao,
    Marcello

Small correction: steering wheel was black, but inside roof was blue, including c-pilars, and carpets dark blue.

    Could it?

The Miura SV is definately the Holy Grail (much to the chagrin of some) but the Countach S is pretty cool too.

1120192 was ordered new by marketing tycoon Jay Van Andel who then proceeded to place it in on a Persian rug in the window of his glass-fronted mansion overlooking Lake Michigan for 15 years..... Van Andel made his money the old-fashioned American way - legally. Then to a character named Sackey, then to Baker then to the current owner.

Featured in Octane magazine, Road & Track magazine, Classic & Sportscar magazine and a new Lamborghini book. Certainly the most published LP400 of recent times and surely the lowest-mileage/nicest original Periscopa extant.

Original factory build sheet and factory Certificato D'Origine exists with the car as do all original books & tools.
