Mine has 3.3litre engine... its probably lighter than the Alphard for sure. It does about 11.5litres/100km. Its consumption is like a 1.3litre car on average. The idiotic thing about this whole green thing is that the LTA has cut the import duty on the car but the tax is higher like a 4.4 litre car. Stupid rite??

Toyota claims the Alphard gives 17.5km/litre. Very respectable but you know them specs & real life. I heard we're getting another 8% rd tax rebate isn't it? When huh? U know them uncles, give you something take back many things
Jon, where did you do your "de-tint"? I'm thinking of removing/replacing mine... having trouble with IU at certain carparks and the Fort Canning tunnel ERP gantry - which I suspect may be due to the tint.
with regards to MPG Toyota is gettin sued by consumers in the USA for the failure to fully disclose what the true mpg of the Hybrid Prius. I wonder what would happen if you walked to your friendly ah beng car dealer at Turf City and told them you are planning on sueing them as the mpg on the hybrid alphard is not as advertised.... Ah beng + Kena Sue.... woo woo woo anyways, I much prefer the ride of the Estima then Alphard, those are not drivers, they are to be driven ard in. Estima G Spec 7 seater with fully reclining seats..a whole new way to count stars..both in the air and next to you....
They cut a small lobang on my IU so it goes anywhere but my autogate can't read my remote so I have to unwind my window. Anyway it was too dark now it's LTA compliant but I feel so naked! Yap I much prefer the Estima with smoother lines & moon roofs, I'm waiting for delivery of a used V6 3.5 end of this month if not it's shopping time again. Trust the Americans to sue anything they can find under the carpet.
all u need to do is peel of one side and pull away..heater gun helps to remove it and wd-40 rubs away glue gunk should be tmw, if not I go buy something else...
