Has any one had any trouble checking engine oil? I changed the oil and refilled with 10 quarts of oil but level is still below the min max line. Followed owners manual instructions on how to check it. what is the proper amount of oil?
sorry about the profile. Just a little scared after doing oil change and oil not level. Car is just sitting till i can get it right.
I don't care about your profile but I do care that you get your oil level right! Do this, run your engine until oil is at operating temperature, shut off engine and immediately check the level and add to full mark, job done, happy motoring.
should take 14qrts with filter change,oil temp should be above 180 ,take it while the car is running or just shut off.I did it on my 2000 550 and it was perfect.
