I too prefer the aesthetics of the 360 CS mirrors. But the 2 strakes holding mirrors of the 430 are supposed to help direct airflow towards the engine intakes on top of the rear 3/4 panels (according to Jason Plato on the 5th Gear test of the 430).
Gearbox is different, body has some slight differences and the CHallenge isnt road legal. Probably has stiffer suspension but from what i read , it is not lighter !
Very interesting about the private Ferrari in house history books that contain very detailed records of the cars Ferrari raced in various events. Even to note little details like tire pressures. Also what the quality was of the competition cars and drivers on that day. Thanks! However even there not a word about the Ferrari private photograph collection... Oh yes the new Scuderia...a few unique details, not giving away too much for the new model that will follow. Just shows how special the old CS still is! CH
I just noticed that there are now 5 settings on the manettino !! I just read that this car shifts in 60 milliseconds.whoo its getting hot in here lol it also has both e diff and F1 track which = smooth ride. This car is crazy.gotta start saving $.
Looks like a 430 on steroids. I'm sure it will look even better in person. And the sound? I can hardly wait. The secondary market on these will be insane.
Just when I thought the 430 rear couldn't get any uglier...it does. Should be a monster performer though, and that goes a long way towards overcoming aesthetics. Interior and instruments are class. Shift times will provide endless fun ! The CS just got prettier.
with 599's 200 over, i bet more like 150 over, altho' the appeal is narrower, and the US car with be a glimmer of the Euro. i gather most S CA dealers don't take orders anymore, so almost everyone will being paying market price -- is that true elsewhere?
Like the car a lot, maybe not so crazy about the wheels gold colour. And I'm so happy about the new name 430 Scuderia, I hated the sound of "light pista" so f*cking much.
Based on the rendering, it needs a lowering job, and as was said before, the WRX-looking wheels need to go in favor of the Challenge wheels. Other than that, I like the improved looks (notably the exhaust relocation)! Can't wait to see it in reality.
Yes I believe you are correct. It is market everywhere as far as I know? I would imagine $150k over MSRP would be right about where the dealers mark them up too? Depends how many come to the US of course? Each dealer may get about 2 would be my guess? That is the # most got with the CS I have been told. Larger dealers maybe more? I could see the price go to $200k over as well though? I do not care how much I love the car! NO THANK YOU for paying over. New Ferrari's have lost me as a customer for the new practice FNA has for charging over MSRP. Mike
