MG ownership did it for me would drive from Wagga to Sydney and back every weekend while learning aircraft trade , would fix MG in Sydney on the w/e and during the week I don't think they can handle being driven hard ALL the time, swapped it for a fiat124sport, never missed a beat and I thrashed it all it's life had a g/f called Ducati ... you work it out
I think it was probably the evil empire that was the problem - In this case of course I refer to the legendary Lucas Company rather than RD
Lucas the Lord of Darkness I actually had the starter motor come loose and fall out of the engine bay while driving it .... was my fault, I didn't WELD the bolts in
All I can say is: Who in the world is MUMTALAKAT Holding Company? Bahrain in Spain falls mainly in the plain.
You think that's bad: http://www.carpages.co.uk/ferrari/ferrari-mubadala-development-company-28-07-05.asp Mubadala Development Company owns Ferrari! (5% anyway, and that's a controlling interest, right? ) Some days you guys just make it too easy!
Thus wouldn't be really funny if the Mubadala Development Company had an interest in the Mumtalakat Holding Company ... thus it was really just sharing internal company documents . Pete
I wouldn't be surprised if Mumtalakat was the same company as Mubadala, same name in two different dialects os something like that
Maybe you should blow you nose as well as everyone knows very well about that season and the impications on Ferrari with that stupid tire rule which was recinded after that fiasco. 10 race wins for Mercedes that season would probably have been only 2 or 3. PS please update your profile.....and join the 355 registry.
You call that an attack? Please....He is the one who made a serious accusation for which he has yet to prove or retract. A few of us are waiting for him to update his profile as well. As for Mercedes....the plot thickens every day and they get deeper and deeper into the mud with IMHO are a lot of lies.
Which serious accusation is that? You can wait for me to update my profile all you like, I am still waiting for you to make a logical statement based on facts and not your wild-arsed suppositions.
+1 That is no attack, hell, 355 has been MORE than tolerant on this guy and his arguments made of "aluminium foil"... ...although this senna dude has learned to use the Formula1 site to at least search for McLAren golden days...so not everything is wasted! ...ANd you know what? 355 is right on the money...the 1 set of tires for the race was specifically done to take Ferrari out of the contention, after winning so much it was boring! Even Williams was ashamed to call on that back in 2004...
Which argument is that? I have stuck with the facts of this case, others are taking unproven allegations from Coughlan's affadavit and declaring them facts. If you have a problem with waiting for the actual truth to be disclosed and not simply leaping to conclusions based on hearsay, then please say so.
Updating a profile is a personal thing . . . not mandated by you. I personally know someone on this chat group who has no profile and is a very, very significant person with the racing world and cars owned. I suspect many are false anyway. Carol
Sorry but thats where you are wrong in this situation. If you have not read what has been said then Im sorry. He accused me of not being able to afford a Ferrari because I am a civil servant. He callec me a moron and and idiot in two differndt posts. I have subscribed to be on here as I feel I owe it to the members after the A White thing they helped me get out of. I have been a member on here for years now and Senna3xWC for 7 months. He does not fill out his profile after telling me that I do not own a Ferrari. He has been coming on here since he golden boy(Kimi) left Mercedes to be with Ferrari. He has been backing Mercedes throught this whole debacle with stepneygate ect ect. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that he is on this site to stir things up with the Tifosi. In fact I believe he is also an anti Ferrari advocate that lurkes on the Delphi forms site. Since he claims that I am and idiot Firefighter who cannot possibly afford a Ferrari then I challenge him to come forward and show us all his profile and his 355 spyder that he professes to own. I think that I and some others on here are entitled to that. I need not mention that I have never called him any names and made fun of his profession what ever it may be. Lets face facts here. This is a Ferrari sit and Mercedes is looking very guilty at the moment and for anyone to be on heren every day and say that this is a set up by Ferrari, that Ferrari is responsible for Stepney and that Ferrari is guilty here really is stretching the truth.
Carol, Sorry, but I will beg to differ. I do respect you, but in this case, I have to side with 355. This kid has been an accusatory, offensive, insulting troll, from the beginning. He then has the unmitigated gall, to make lame ineffective attempts at appearing to "take the high road," by claiming that he is the offended party, due to others responding to his vituperous bial. I think his mommie should be told, of his abhorrent behavior, so he may receive the paddling that he so richly deserves. Regards, Bill
seriously, who died and left you king of the castle !! If Marcel Massini can come on here and be known then some insignificant troll calling him, or most likely HERself, Senna3xWDC can stop hiding behind anonymity, are they hiding out in witness protection ? Just because you don't like the expose' of this radical person who has done NOTHING bar spread invective and noise is no reason for some of us to not continue the tirade against him/her, and I am leaning more towards her because it is more like a woman's response than a man's .... don't like it then don't read this thread but don't start pontificating
I hope we get the "truth" too. But I am skeptical. Everyone will put a 'spin" on the truth to help what they perceive to be in their best interest. FIA is no exception to this. If they want set an example for honesty and fair play (strickly by the rules) they will set the bar for proof low and punish everyone involved. If they want to keep the season going and the F1 racing unaffected they will set the bar for proof very high and little or nothing will be done to anyone. One of the panel's members from Spain (Alonso fan?) has already said the bar will be high and it is hard to prove anything wrong has been done. If the FIA, by a lenient ruling in effect says that it's OK for a member of one team to get secret information on a rival competitor when only one or a few team members are involved, they have opened Pandoras Box for blatant spying and cheating going forward. For the sake of the sport I hope this does not happen. I still believe McL should have to start from the back of the grid for the number of races that a McL employee had the secret SF data (9 max). I believe McLaren should have to reimburse FIA and SF for their expenses. Stepney should have to give the money he received for SF's property to SF and he should go to jail for 4 years and be banned from F1 for life. All the McL employees who knew about the information and did not report it should be banned from F1 for life IMVHO.
Couldnt have said it better......In news earlier today the FIA said that it is very disturbed by that spanish member coming out and giving his opinion publicly and it would not surprise me if they are dealing with him right now.
BTW: I don't own a Ferrari ... Guys it's just a car, a good car to some, get over it. Has nothing to do with your views on F1, which team you support, etc. Pete
then buy one and you will understand a little of the passion here, owning a Ferrari is a lifestyle to the passionate and having YOUR team beat EVERY weekend for 21 YEARS was soul-destroying to the Tifosi I don't understand the "racing fans" coming onto a Ferrari site and expounding views that throw petrol on the fire to those of us that have a deep-rooted love of Ferrari and all it entails, especially the F1 connection I think some people forget this IS a Ferrari site where passion runs high and I for one could care less if one of the garagisti drops off the twig, I prefer to see Ferrari battle the manufacturers like BMW, Honda, Toyota, at least they have the guts to put up rather than hide behind Lucifer as MB do Have you driven a Ferrari Pete ? If not then I'll bring mine down this xmas for you to have a go in and then you will understand, hopefully I feel happy everytime I slide into the seat, it feels like I am surrounding myself with the F1 history (failures and all), I hop into my BMW and feel nothing, but I do know I will get to where I want to go
Exactly. I watch an F1 race and later when I jump into my 355 and go for a spin, I feel like im in that f2007 racer. Its uncanny and feels unbelievable. The car feels like I sat in a great chair and they built it around me. Yes there are faster cars but they are not a Ferrari. Ferrari has a mystic about them that you cant explain. They are as beautiful to look at as they are to drive. Cant explain...The Who
