Testarossa BR Thats what I mean, no silly tuning stripes and proper color for the wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
as far as looks is concerned, my vote goes for CS > 430 Scuderia the only thing I really like about the 430 Scuderia is the exhaust tips coming out on the sides of the rear license plate. otherwise look-wise it aint all that
Lowered it and touched it up a little. Thanks to ferrariartist for starting it off! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't forget that Fiorano is a pretty short track, makes the horsepower less important...plus Enzo stock tires are crappy street tires...plus Enzo has taller gear ratio for high speed...so it is not really a good comparison between cars...but still a good comparison as to how CS, F430 had faired against the Enzo lap time. Some people who has put equivalent 60 treadwear tires on the Enzo and has reported tremendous improvements. And don't forget that that the Challenge cars has safety equipment that is weighty such as cage, fire suppression system, air jacks...and so on. I think they have achieved what most of CS enthusiasts want in this iteration, which is fantastic. I have not warmed up the the F430 styling like many people, but the changes applied is a significant improvement in the right direction and I am happy with the results. Is it better looking than a CS? Not in my opinion...but getting there. Would I replace my CS with 430 Scuderia? No, I would not if financially possible...if I can only keep 1, I guess I will have to wait until I get to drive one and see which on I can't live without. So anyone gonna ask for a standard 6-speed option?
Black (nero daytona) metallic with stripe (silver) black and grey alcantara or cloth (whatever they end up using) roll cage fire extinguisher and an extra set of rims for the slicks
I will bet that there will be a strong parts demand for buying the front bumper of the 430 Scuderia to put on a standard 430. Wonder what that will cost?
The front bumper looks finished.........finally. Wasn't impressed with the original 430s oblong, eliptical, jelly-bean like front vents. So much so that I had them painted body color to blend them into the rest of the body. The Scuderias facade is the way the front should have been designed in the first place. Well done. I got inspired to finally take the CS out after looking at this thread. Still puts a silly grin on my face .............I can't even begin to imagine what this thing drives and feels like! Well done Ferrari!
Why be sorry? It's a fact: Ferraris have been focus-grouped toward greater ugliness ever since the 355 reverted the hideousnesses of the 512TR and 348.
I meant that the different color finish might note the special material. I am not aware of a magnesium wheel from anyone that is cleared, so the color is always paint. If they are aluminum, and they are not cast as poorly as the standard 430 wheels, they would probably look real good finished in bright or dark silver with the faces polished.
I'm betting the other way: The poseurs will tire of saying 'no, it's not a lamborgaudi' and fit them with regular 430 facades.
