Teaser: A run down the PCH

I've been chomping at the bit to take my 308 from SanFran down the PCH to LA. Maybe even driving to Vegas (with no respectable A/C, maybe not )

I have a favor to return and Free flight coupons to use before October 31st so I'm thinking ship the car to SanFran & fly out there for a couple days about mid Sept. Drive from SanFran to the Hurst Castle & stay over, finish the drive to LA & spend a day or two. Drive out to Vegas for a couple days. Fly back & ship the car back from Vegas.

Last I checked, the shipping was like $2K per car for 5 cars in an enclosed carrier round trip.

Anybody interested? This is just a feeler at this point.

 

Nope. She should be painted this weekend (I hope) and the glass should arrive next week (I hope). Of course, no 308, no go.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. Though I would *LOVE* to hit the shows, my co-pilot will likely be unhappy even at the thought of several hours in the 308 down the PCH. I don't want to push my luck
