Is there a 15K mile service for 355s or is it always the 30K major belt service that everyone gets? I'm looking at a car that had a major service 3 1/2 years and 15K miles ago. It's easy to say it's due for a 30K service but I'm wondering if it's really due for a 15K service - assuming such a thing exists, what's the difference between the two. Is the 15K service what Eugenio's Ferrari Maintenance lists as a "minor service"?
Yup, by the manual, it includes changing all the fluids and the three accessory drive belts on the engine. Beyond that, it is a bunch of various checks and inspections. Most will go ahead and change the spark plugs too. But with Ferrari now recommending 3 year belt changes, unless you are stretching the interval to 5 or 6 years, most just skip the 15k and do the major.
