First practice of the weekend followed a similar pattern. Go Lewis! Lewis was atop the chart followed by Kimi -.236, Alonso - .417, Heidfeld - .460, Kubica -.690, Massa - 1.090, Ralf - 1.310, Jenson - 1.421, DC - 1.547 and Rubens - 1.627 comprise the top ten. At least both Hondas made top ten.

    Second practice should be interesting.

With an hour to go, Lewis is back on top. Only half the field out at this point. Webber in second. KR is in third behind Mark - 1.5 off Lewis.

Hope for a good second practice. Will check computer screen later this morning. Lots going on today. ALMS qualifying this afternoon.

I'm amazed how little response today's practice got on here.

After all it is only a FERRARI driver leading the time sheets, nothing to get really exited about on a FERRARI chatsite.

What the heck was Alonso doing at the begining of the second practice with Massa ? It seemed he was tryng to force Massa into a mistake, first trying to pass Massa, then waiting for Massa, pushing Massa wide. Maybe head games :)

It seems that Massa still has a bit of an issue with rain? Will be interesting to see how he fares in a wet race.

Any word on the 'racing incident' with Alonso and Massa at the start of the first session?

Also, is "orientated" a word? Or is it just something the brits say in their English? I heard Peter Windsor say it in respect to the shifting of the technicians to other teams and getting "orientated." I've also heard it from Bear on 'Man vs Wild' quite regularly, getting "orientated" to the environment. Is it a word or just brit english?

orientate yourself (FIND DIRECTION) UK verb [R] (US orient)
to discover your position in relation to your surroundings:
If you get lost while you are out walking, try to use the sun to orientate yourself.

    :)

Holey moley! - As a transplanted Brit with a reasonable understanding of the language/grammar etc I was *about* to post that it's wrong and go on a long rant about the bastardisation of the language - Man, would I ever have f&%^ed up....

I guess, as my tin-lids (kids, get it?) say, "I've become Americanized" (Note the 'z' there :)

"Two countries divided by a common language......"

    Cheers,
    Ian

    No

It was a little damp at the start of the sess', but I don't think anyone went out on anything but drys. Same in the 1st sess' I believe, although it pi$$ed down apparently when the GP2 guys were practicing. [Thereby cleaning the track of course....]

    Cheers,
    Ian
