over here in Malaysia. anybody has any idea? thanx :)
hey Johnny, thanx for the reply. well, not me, but one of my cousin, looking into one. i have a rough idea in how much a 355 onwards cost, but not a 512 TR.
Hie remy....I have seen once going for rm 4xxk plus but thats 1 years plus ago...but i am not to sure is 512tr the rear lights is like 355...not like some the rear lights is like those on the 348...
The one with 4round lights on the rear & an exposed headlight AKA LM type means it's the M version. It wears 18" turbine 3pc rims as well. A limited run of 500 cars, very valuable. The TR is a nicer one IMO with a cleaner & purposeful front bumper, flip-up headlights, squared tailamps (white indicators), engine reworked, EFI & gearbox lowered in the subframe + a new cabin from eariler Testa. Still, only 1000+ were made. There's only one left in Sg & think it should still be about RM400K+/- You can spend big money to update any Testa to the M look as well. Still a head turner wherever you go in one of those.
Heard my friend bought it recently. That's a conversion. Was owned by a "hawker" for a long time before & offered to me last yr.
Thanx for the replies everyone. i'll post a pic of what sorta TR i like. but 400k plus is, IMO pretty expensive. a 355 costs about 500k plus here?
Remy, the TR is a top-of-line model. About 30% premium over the V8s just like a 599 over a 430 but sometimes they do equalise in value over the years but history has shown that almost all of the V12 two seaters go up in value with some swelling so much it knocks us over. The 512BBs have gone up. BUT they made many TRs, almost 10K of them overall from 84 till 95/6 so prices will remain depress for a while.
i'm just assuming actually. thats why there's a question mark there well, a second hand 360 would cost about 700-800k here? so perhaps a 355 would cost about 500k?
Saw that, it had the 512M rear and bumper but not the correct bonnet or headlights or rims (rims were 512TR as were the headlights and bonnet). Still looks superb on the road though... as impressive as a Murcie
