if you look closely you will see that the rims are too large but oh well let's pretend you ordered larger ones... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aside from the Photoshop fun, it seems like a waste of effort as 99.99% of the actual buyers will be 100% stock. We can comment all we want about gold wheels etc but very very few people will change the colour. Also, after the CS stripe experience I bet that most will opt for the stripe when they order
I am surprised that there is so much thought about cosmetics and so little about the car itself. Where is the weight saving? Is it a stock 430 shell or has it been lightened and stiffened? The numbers are not so interesting unless we understand what is behind them. The famous 20kg of the 997 GT3 RS over the GT3 is a classic example. The difference in the end product is much much more than 20kgs would suggest. Can anyone point me to a different forum which is less focussed on cosmetics and more on the technical side?
DM18 you are correct and there is nothing about this car i would change Image Unavailable, Please Login
THE MIRRORS!!!!! Maybe Im being picky....but I am really dissapointed not to see the CS mirrors on this car.
This is of course not a CS, it is a completely different car and we all should embrace its individuality and uniqueness. Depending on Build # it stands to loved and admired as much as the CS is. IMVHO
I agree and am wondering about the same topic. Isn't that something like 600lbs lighter than a stock 430? Doesn't seem possible to me...
these front bumpers are much Much MUCH MUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCH better looking then the regular 430. i'm impressed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I like the mesh over the intakes much better than the black plastic "tear drop" look. Worth trading 2 360's for Jimmy?
i don't know about trading, i want an LP640 though now i'm thinking, i'm sure ferrari will not make a 6-speed 430 scuderia also that's nice you called it the "dear drop" look, i called it the "dropped-egg-shaped" look lol...
I like you love the 6 Speed Manual's but the recent F1's (430 & 599) would make me think twice. In addition, the F1 in these cars are part of entire system that works very well together.
Is there any truth to the rumors that the Scuderia might be present at Pebble Beach next month? If so, it will be interesting to see real pics of the car, as I am tiring of these cartoonish images that Ferrari releases of their new cars. Though, I am glad they released the pics but I am sure it will look even more awesome in the flesh! I may be in the minority here but I am hoping you can order without the gold rims, as I have a feeling the novelty might wear off.
owners presentation on 4th sept at maranello , no way for the beach with pebbles . rims can be re-painted for 1k total , tops .
Yup U are rite... Sept 4th at the Fiorano track. Luca, Kimi, Massa, and I will be there! Anyone else going?
One of the popular motoring forums in the UK (P*********s) has claimed that quote............ Officially called the F430 Scuderia, it becomes the third model in the F430 range, and is envisaged by the factory as a regular stand-alone variant in its own right unlike the F360 Challenge Stradale that appeared in limited numbers towards the end of the 360 Modena lifecycle .............. Anyone hear similar or different?
paul's right- this will have a BIG effect on residual prices http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=16503 Officially called the F430 Scuderia, it becomes the third model in the F430 range, and is envisaged by the factory as a regular stand-alone variant in its own right unlike the F360 Challenge Stradale that appeared in limited numbers towards the end of the 360 Modena lifecycle.
that is really nice, I had a black Challenge Stradale, always wanted a stripe, but this one is for sure the best.
