I have been shopping on the internet for a 360 and found one at a non-authorized Ferrari dealer in Southern California for $149,000. The next day the car was "sold." A day later the same identical car (same mileage, same VIN #) was selling at a Northern California authorized Ferrari dealer for $165,000.

What's going on? Is this a normal practice for one dealer to buy from another and mark it up?

    Who can you trust?

Im no expert but I do know that dealers do exchange cars back and forth if they dont seem to be moving in their area.

My F355 changed states/dealers three times before I bought it here in southern cali.

As for price increases..I have been told that sometimes its better to raise the price than to lower it.

Proably normal. dealers are always looking for a car they can buy at a good price and turn around and sell for a profit. it is only business!

Nothing is "normal" in the Ferrari world. Get acclimated to it or run screaming into the night.

You can trust your Mom.........unless she has a Ferrari for sale.
