Nice, but we're going to have to deduct brownie points for the 67 wheels and hood. (My 66 is rally red with matching red interior. Purchased in 1988 for $6500 with a 350 under the hood.)

The hood stays, I like the stinger. The wheels will go. The car is original where it counts...the drive train.

What version of the engine does it have, and is that Marina Blue?

    I like it!

thats a SMOKIN car.. i absolutely love those and the 68-72s. I saw a 427 convertible with a painted stinger, completely restored at LOH at the party last week. I think they wanted around $140K for it..

Ummm....Brian? That's NOT a Ferrari. Sheesh. First the award winning yellow convertible, now a blue one.

Ferrari 101 starts Saturday night at the bar. You're buying as part of your tuition.

I believe it would be a 1965 with a 396 engine. Big block hood and 65 hubcabs are the giveaways.

1965 396 / 425 hp. Fast and fun, but way too loud! With 4:10 rear end, every time you romped it, you knew every cop within a mile was coming your way. Took one cruise around White Rock with Dale, and the heat off that big block about drove us out of the car. Only had it about 4 months, and a guy from Irving bought it. Would have changed the wheel covers and whitewalls if I had kept it. Nassau Blue has alway been a favorite.
Nice combo you have with the Camaro and the rest of your fleet Brian !

Great looking vette. Did you find it here in Dallas? My nextdoor neighbor here in Colleyville recently sold one very similar to yours through a consignment company ( Corvettes of Dallas??). If it is the same car, awesome ride- very quick, congrats.

Well Brian. And I thought you had me with your Blue 355. This out does it. I am in the hope that this (67 or earlier Vette) will be my next purchase. Let me know when you have time to talk about it.
Keep a chair open during the next "outing/event" you will be making. I want to bend your ear about this one. Beautiful / Congrats, Tom.
Put me down as "first right of refusal" when you get tired of her.
    P.S. I like the wheels.

If anybody knows the location of an engineless 1967 big block Corvette hulk that is up for sale, let me know. I have accumulated the correct hood, 4351 casting number engine block, tri-power intake and air cleaner; the hard to find stuff. All I need is a scrap hulk to start with.

    Rob, Come on. It's not a Camaro, It's a 1966 Vega.
