Congrats, Jon! It's a car that I would have seriously considered if not for my own little Spider. I'm sure it's a good-looker, especially with the turbo body.

So who's going topless next? Lung? Come come don't shy!

That's a very good point! All race cars are taken apart every few months for complete overhaul. Let's hope the oil & actuators keeps up.

bro, congrats! i wonder what it will take to complete your cup. a cat perhaps?

seriously, i was thinking along the same lines and i consider my cup only 1/3 filled. i dont think it will be full until 2010 (hint: think italian; then english). the aim is to have a german, an italian and an english; an 8 cylinder, a 10 cylinder and a 12 cylinder!

bo bian, heow is like that one...

My understanding is that HSM allocation is 12 cars against 16 deposits. Also one of my friends approached HSM on Monday to order one...and was turned down coz no allocation.

Bro, so when r u collecting or already collected yours?

My last 1/3 would be a nice classic Ferrari. The Lambos or modern cars can come & go but nice & valuable classics are always admired though not necessarily expensive. So now I have a boxer 6 & V12, a V8 will be nice ;)

Haven't thought about the countries though & the only nice English cars I like are classics.

Sky's dark again. Thought I bought the correct car for "summer" but it's been raining lately :(

So looks like our Max should've sold his #2 slot :D

How's the CS treating you or rather you treating it?

CS very good car. The faster u go...the more stable it gets.. coz of the aerodynamics. At lower speeds i.e. under 80 the car feels twitchy. But abover 100 it sticks like glue.
The gear shifts are slow.. around 300msec.. but still acceptable. The low end torque needs to be improved. I will probably chip the car and change the exhaust to improve the low end.
The exhaust is really obnoxious above 5000rpm in race and 7000 in normal mode. I am in talks with Larini to see what the improvements will be if we changed the exhaust.

Very easy to drive. Not as height friendly as a Gallardo, but better than a GT3. Can drive with finger tips coz its superlight.
    I also love the 4 point seatbelt...it doesn't crease my office shirts..hahaha.
My wife hates the white stripe down the middle. But I tell her it makes the car go faster. :)

Such a finely honed car should be left alone IMHO. Less the character changes.

Lung, I've been wanting to ask you this Q as I almost bought one early this year before the G. Thought you said the 430 is a much better car but why did you make one round & came back to a CS & I know you didn't even like the 360?

Is it because it's a more involving ride & lesser electronic gadgets=more focus or is it a prelude to the Scuderia or.....

U mean launch control? I was looking @ some guys doing donuts in their Murcie on U-tube, don't think I'll ever want to do that but it does help to get out of spins faster.

Very true, Mr Bobby! Was your first car the Murci or the red Modena? Do you still have the white G?

Quite true actually. Black looks nice on the 599...only.

I have to agree with you though I am not a fan of the colour black on cars. Seems dull. Well it works on some cars...

I think it's interesting to personalise the car even a CS. Lung's been thru many Fcars & their Italian schools so he should know better. I'm eager to see what can be done to improve it.
