what do u think about this car? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERRARI-TESTAROSSA-Go-Kart-Kit-Toy-Model-Cart-Collector_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ46105QQihZ014QQitemZ330148001869QQrdZ1
It is a 1/10 scale. Only 25 were made. It came from France. That is all I know. However there is a 1/12 scale by Diarama.
It must be a scale version of 0666, but I don't know who made it. Style is like Patrice de Conto, but I don't know if he made it, the opening door of 0666 is something I haven't seen before on his models. He made a superb model of the closed fender TR nr.0728 The model is amazing, would love to know the name of the "french" maker/builder......
This is said to be a prototype for presentation on a fair. The Company is called Mercury and the car is more than 35 years old in scale 1:32. The colour is wrong (but original). Has anybody seen it before? And anybody any idea what it could be worth (no idea to seel, just for knowing)? The close up pics are convincing me the 250TR is probably made by Patrice de Conto, The style of finishing and amazing detail like the cockpit, and panel-shutlines are his trademarks. As goes for the borani wheels. The diorama however, is somewhat strange, It's not even half the quality of the model. I'll send some pics to Belgium, I know mr. Badot can confirm for sure. mr. Badot is the owner of Minidelta, the company that offers the models from mr. de Conto to collectors. (www.minidelta.be) The models of mr. de Conto are superb and collected as museumpieces. I sincerely hope to own one of his masterpieces in the future, for now, I can only admire them. Enclosed is a model of the collection of ecurie Franchorchamps, My absolute favorite. Rafienva, Will have confirmation in 1 or 2 days... I am allmost certain but... It's being asked to Patrice de Conto in person, certainly he will know........ You have some models to die for out there!!!!! The TR is probably rarer than its 1/1 brothers and sisters.. Earlier in this thread are several pictures of recent Patrice de Conto ferrari's.
Rafienva, I am still waiting for an answer of Patrice de Conto, but he is on vacation probably..... As soon as I hear something, i'll let you know. This week another 1:14 ferrari came in. its a HE14 512BB by Enrica. Amazingly its brand new! Never shown before, since being made around 1988. I am currently restoring a brianza 250 california. Former owner dropped it probably, fixed most problems, including a broken windshield. Parts needed are coming from Italy......and, Italy has vacation to! Hope to get it finished by the end of the month. It will be another Gem when finished! Also a pic. of my special 1:12 kyosho F40. Found it on ebay 2 years back, no idea who made the decals but its stunning! I have only 2 diecasts. the F40 and an Enzo in 1:12, both kyosho's. Am waiting for something really special, I will post immediately as it comes in. A 1:14 daytona by Brianza in 1:14 The first of the series Carlo Brianza made. Rafienva, the 250TR is built by Patrice de Conto for ACB (auto creation Bigaudet) in Paris. This shop was very active in the early nineties but no longer exists, It had several limited edition series. Patrice built several TR's for them. In 1/43 scale ACB cooperated with AMR and made le Phoenix models. They were extremely good and top of the bill. I don't think the diorama's do the models justice. Without.....they will probably look much better!!! Patrice is one of the best builders, around. His models are present in a few of the most renowned collections! still saving for one...............
A few pics of the latest addition from a fellow F-chatter. The word is....this is the rarest 1:14 carlo Brianza modell, I don't know if that's a fact but it's nr. 101. And very rare, and I was extremely happy, it wsas offered to me.....didn't have to think twice..Thanks Cor! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thought this thread neede some new imput, so here's another beauty in 1:12 Model Plus 250 testa Rossa LM 1958 Its huge, and nr. 10/100. Like most builts series by model plus...there might be a lot less than 100 (over the years a 100 are max. built). Image Unavailable, Please Login
