    EuropeanI have mentioned this in another thread and it may have gotten lost in all the commotion but I am intrigued as to why there has been no protest by Reanult about when Mclaren released Alonso and almost collided with Fisi in the Pit lane.

    any ideas?

    I count three times that Alonso has dangerously and blindly re-entered the track this year (twice racing, and now once on the pit lane), with complete disregard for other drivers almost causing a huge crash each time. Only blind luck has prevented this from happening, and its only a matter of time IMO.

    I notice that F1 has now gone after YOUTUBE and made them remove any pirated clips in the last 24 Hours.

    When I first saw footage of this yesterday I was shocked as obviously was Martin Brundle when it happened.

    I thought it was blatantly dangerous and opportunistic and on those grounds alone would have expected Flav to be up the pitlane in no time.

    Fisi had to clearly swerve and slow to avoid colliding with Falonso.

    well we've already established there are no penalties for Lucifer's team so why should they have to follow any rules of the road or track ??

    It is the responsibility of the Competitor to release his car after a pit stop only when it is safe to do so."

    That is the rule.

    I'm no expert but I imagine Brundle is....maybe more qualified than some here also?

    He thought it worthy enough to comment and Flavio is not exactly a shrinking violet.

    Just thought that that it was notable thats all.

    +1, I'd love to see a bit of bumping wheels in the pits.

    Actually I'd like pitstops to fnck off completely, but if we have to have them (for Bernies TV show) then lets be men about it. Next F1 cars will have to have indicators and obey road rules ...

    On the broadcast it was totally marginal especially with all the pit crew so near by.

    Mclaren are certainly using up some grace and good favour this season in IMHO.

    But the show is too good it would seem and in light of Bernies' pronouncements so far I was not as amazed at the Courts decision as the passing over of this incident.

    Dear old Jackie Stewart in his old age has finally had an injection of common sense!

    I will now put on my Flame suit (Linea FPT of course!)

    Ron told Renault that if they complained about the pit stop, he wouldn't pass them any of the Ferrari technical data. ;)

    FA is 'one' with his machine...and would never hit anyone. It would be there fault if a collision ensued. Anyway, they should know he is going to bull his way on, so stay out of the way! He is THE MAN! THE CHAMP! MOVE OVER! :)

    Wouldn't it be the lollipop guys fault? When he lifts the drivers go, and the drivers must shoot out into the lane otherwise they will run over the hanging airlines and two crewmembers in the stall in front of them.

    I guess that was my original point which I probably didn't express very well.

    I would have thought there was some sort of penalty against Mcl but it was not to be.

    You dont get it do you ?
    We're on a witch hunt here and your confusing the issue with facts.
    Alonso = Darth Vader
    Ron = The Emperor
    Lollipopman = Darth Maul.
    Its a conspiracy and the FIA is the world order.
    It couldnt possibly be another "Accident" caused in the heat of battleing for a race win.
    Were talking World Domination, man !
