Just saying hello to my fellow North Westerns who love beautiful automobiles. You guys have some VERY nice rides on here. I see there's plenty of members SANS Ferrari's so I don't feel too out of place.

I stumbled onto this site researching F355's as I'd like to get a 355 spider one of these days. Hopefully sooner then later.

Personally I have a nice NSX-T with a butt-load of mods. I have found most don't actually know much about the NSX (generally the uninformed haters). While deff. NOT a Ferrari, it does share many similarities. It is hand built, completely made of aluminum, titanium components in the engine, mid-engine, 8400 red line, and crazy rare. There are more 360's made then the entire 15 years of NSX's combined. Mine is one of only 47 black and tan's of that year. Anyways, it's been a great car and is a nice stepping stone towards those beautiful F cars.

    Some of the mods on her;

    ENGINE
    COMPTECH IEM PORT AND POLISH
COMPTECH HI-REV VALVES, SPRINGS, & RETAINERS
    COMPTECH HI-REV CAM SHAFTS
COMPTECH CARBON FIBER SIDE AIR INTAKE
    COMPTECH HEADERS
    COMPTECH EXHAUST
    COMPTECH LIGHT WEIGHT FLYWHEEL
    DALI STRAIGHT PIPES
    JDM CARBON FIBER ENGINE COVER

    SUSPENSION
    RM RACING SWAY BARS
    TEIN RE SERIES COILOVERS

    BRAKES
COMPTECH POWERTEC BIG BRAKE KIT F&R
    COMPTECH STAINLESS BRAKE LINES

    EXTERIOR/INTERIOR
    COMPTECH CARBON FIBER DASH KIT
    05 OEM TAIL LIGHTS
    15% TINT
    HID HEADLIGHTS

    WHEELS
    HRE 542R 18X8 & 19X10

Anyways, not trying to brag too much....Please say hi if you see me around the Portland area!

Gorgeous NSX. Now you just need to ditch the Acura logos and properly badge it as a Honda, per JDM style.

Do you have any engine pics?

    Welcome.

NSX's are the best bang for the buck IMHO as well as the Elise. I had 2 NSX's in the past. People that don't know what NSX's are always asked me if it was a F-car.

Car show tomorrow (Sat) if you want to bring her out. 10am Stardust Diner in Vancouver WA off of 164th/Mill Plain.

    Welcome to Fchat. :)

Do you ever take it to PIR for HPDEs? The track closes soon. LMK if you need further info in re HPDEs/track days.

I see a few NSXs @ PIR (ie; dave's beautiful; black NSX andhe sure knows how to drive it!). And Eddie and the gang @ Adrenaline Racing (lake oswego) work on some NSXs. So I get to see them up close often. Luv 'Em!

    Stay in touch,

    Peace,

    Richard.

What do you mean "take it to PIR for HPDEs, the track closes soon?" You mean for the season or forever?

Why would you badge an American Acura NSX (not to mention American tuned) as a Honda? Why does a "JDM" emblem make a car so much better?

Don't bust his chops on that. If I had an NSX, I'd certainly badge it a Honda....because really, that's what it is... a Honda. Tradition is the red Honda badge....Acura doesn't mean quite so much.

It's especially fitting too since the S2000 is badged a Honda and not an Acura.

That tradition might live in Japan, but the American NSX is an Acura. Maybe it's just me. If the steering wheel has "Acura" imprinted on it, the centerpiece taillights read "Acura," and the make is an Acura, then I would have an Acura emblem on the car.

Nice NSX. I've always loved the lines of those cars, very Ferrari-ish.

I saw a yellow NSX that was heavily modded on the Kirkland waterfront not too long ago. It appeared to turboed or supercharged because it had 3 gauges on the a-pillar....perhaps you know him?

Yeah, but it was only badged as an Acura for the snobby Americans so they'd buy it and not knock it b/c it said Honda. For the most part, the ROW (rest of world) gets it badged as a Honda.....

For resurfacing, starting in Sept 07. Effectively we lose two months this year of driving time. But there's T-Hill. A long ways tho. <sigh>

BTW; didn't see the OP during the last two track days. But Dave and Paul had their NSXs out.

    Peace,

    Richard.

Very nice car indeed. About as rare seeing one of those as seeing my Supra. We also share a liking in the same color too I see, lol. Thread needs some more pictures, inside and motor please. :)

    Oh and welcome,welcome..... :)

Look what some have done to an NSX to make it a F 360 :(
