Black Enzo needed

Well aren't you a bit demanding for having 28 posts and no profile...

 

I think the Enzo is a great car. Beautiful both inside and out. I also feel that it captures the true spirit of an F1 race car, mechanically speaking. I think there is a few black enzo owners on this site in California that have been seen around the area - not sure if it's for sale or not! *shrug*

Attitude like that usually results in a flood of exactly what you didn't ask for.

Perhaps if you offered a finders fee from the undoudtedly significant commission you potentially will earn for finding such a rare beast, it might go some way to softening your really harsh over the top, entirely uncalled for limitations on a public discussion forum. Otherwise I doubt that even if anyone had such rare information, that they would pass it onto you.

 

My buddy saw a Black Enzo at the Wynn hotel one time. It was for sale but is now sold...but my friend saw it!

 

If anyone has Penelope Cruz's phone number, please let me know. I really am looking to date her for real. Please do not post on here how sultry and beautiful she is. ps Terry, I think the Enzo is an amazing car, has incredible daring and modern lines and wouldn't mind taking the opportunity in telling you so.

Is it for you personally or are you a dealer or broker?

If the former, then you should fill out your profile so we can know where you are and all that, and if the latter, what compensation are you offering for the assistance to your business/profits from the member who has or can put you in touch with the seller of a black enzo?

 

there can't be many Enzo's in Idaho...

You gotta pay to play. The difficulties involved in finding an Enzo is exactly why you are hired. They are hard to find, and there are too many people out there looking to waste somebody's time.
As for finding a car, the reality is that everybody has a price. Find a black car and make them an offer they can't refuse.

Yah, I saw it at the Wynn . . . I was like "is it for sale?" . . . and the sales said "maybe" . . . a few minutes later, he said it was sold! (A 30 min story summerized in one very long line LOL)

I have 3 red enzos for sale but I'm spray painting one black tomorrow. Let me know if you want it. I can also spray paint the rims black to match at no extra cost.

 

Good question. When someone appears on FerrariChat making outrageous claims or requests while choosing to maintain anonymity, I seek to determine from public domain sources who the phantom might be. Additionally, I've lost count of how many people claim to be rare car locators and brokers on the web when most should just open a dealership in Second Life and leave real car enthusiast alone. With regard to a Black Enzo, there are only a few very well known and reputable brokers, dealers and VIN trackers that know who owns them and who the likely buyers will be when and if one becomes available. When someone like Mr. Godbout suddenly materializes claiming to have a buyer and seeking a black Enzo, he has painted himself a wannbe.......

I actually have no idea if the gentlemen in the photo link is the same person representing himself on this board as a car broker. By definition, there is nothing private about the public domain. For many professionals it is critical intelligence to be applied in daily business. In private lives it is equally useful to shield ourselves from possible charlatans.

I do believe you....but I think most of us just found your first post a little bit too damanding for a new guy. If you want to be taken seriously here, I think you need a better openning paragraph.

 

Honestly Terry, good luck and happy hunting. The "about 8 gentlemen" to which you refer don't participate on FerrariChat as they know very well that it would only sully their reputation. At one time or another, this forum has driven away its most valuable historians and technical advisors. For the vast majority of Ferraris which change hands, those well under $200K, no doubt FerrariChat is useful portal for you. Having owned countless (according to my wife) vintage and modern sports and race cars, my experience with "car brokers" is that most are crooks, liars, thieves and wannabes. A minority are professionals and a handful are honest hobbyists (Hi Dino!). I suspect you fall into the latter category. Again, good luck!
