    Go to the warehouse store and buy a couple of cases of half liter bottes of spring water (not any of that filtered tap water like Dasani). Fill up the big cooler and sell them for a dollar apiece. During a hot summer day in Florida I made about 50 bucks in bottled water sales alone.

    do your self a favor. When having a yard sale take a large wooden spoon and hit yourself repeatedly across the back of the head. Just so you will have the pleasure of saying you caused the welt yourself. It is about as satisfying and pointless. I have a feeling by around 10:15 am Pete will be hiding inside the house with a loaded gun. OH and make sure the FCar is no place to be seen it is harder to haggle when they think that you don't "NEed it"

    Dennis Miller said the next time he has a yard sale he is going to price some item at 1 pubic hair, just so he can hear someone offer him a half a pubic hair for it...

    Hell, at 10:15, I was knee-deep in people buying tons of crap! Relentless until about noon. I'm off to give it all to the guy that resurfaced my floors this week! That's what we had the sale for, as the floor job was $1200. Went to the casino with the additional $200 we made, played pennies and walked with $600!

    Melodie bugged me to have another sale for the stuff we did not sell on the last garage sale, so I had one this morning from 9AM to noon to make her happy. Advertised for three days prior in the local paper. Sold over $500 worth of crap! I just do not understand why people buy what they do. I sold an old Grandfather clock (Just a cheap one) and my freezer to a guy that bought a bunch of stuff from our last sale. I followed him to is house (after he took the stuf home) to see if one of my keys on an old ring fit the freezer lock. When I pulled in, this guy's garage looked like yard sale buying is all he does! I'm talking piles of crap. HE should be the one having a garage sale!
