    Thank you, thank you, thank you. I took the photo many years ago (1976) using the superb, old 1962 vintage Voigtlander Bessamatic that my father gave to me (I still have it). I believe that the lens was the Skoparex 35mm f/3.4. Film is Ektachrome.

    The photo that I put up actually has the lighting digitally "enhanced". This one is closer to the original.

    Pulled off the road into King's Canyon and took this shot. This is actually the deepest canyon in the U.S., but the walls are not as vertical as the Grand Canyon...

    I have seen a tv programm about this canyon really big. i prefer the other pic
    with the reflection in the water...So Dan do you have in your "photographies Box" something about the Yosemite valley? something like the Lewis advertise
    Do you remember the blonde in the Lac? ;)

    I should have some Yosemite photos somewhere... If there were a blonde in that lake, she would have been very hardy. That water is COLD!

    Here's a much more recent photo of Folly Beach near where I live. I put this up in a photo forum and many people found it disturbing. That's what I like about it. I call it "Eye of the Storm"...

    yes i m agree with you Dan it looks a bleu eye in the storm, very nice efect in the picture. so it looks also a small town near the beach.
    Witch state do you come from?

    About the black & white advertise of Lewis 1993/94 it was with the son of Stiltskin -inside- the music and movie was a great combinaison.

    some of mine with the Canon, i m so unpatient to received the D80....argh

    nice concentration of cars i like the colors, the vette and also this "boat car" precious thing.

    the Zebre looks unhappy to be here...poor boy. great shoot too the black & white for those animals
