No doubt a great performing car but looks-wise still not feeling it. I thought the drawings were Ok but the pics just erased that.
Unless one hammers, the LED's don't go on. As to the validity of the question, what were you thinking that the shift light system is used for? Low RPM shifting? Please. Nice to suggest that i might be stupid. Even with "no knowledge of the shift light system" I am hard pressed to imagine the possibilities under which your question could be valid given the inextricable relationship between engine RPM and gears. Maybe one possibility that would make sense, the shift lights are always on and you only shift when they all go out. But then you would not be distracted on your dark wet cold English night on laneway
We have a winner! That looks amazing. I haven't seen this color on a Ferrari and not LOVED what I saw. Thanks for the picture
Looks quality, both pictures. The black would look great with the silver stripe and so would the navy. Only other thing im not keen on but everyone is, is the interior. Dont you think all black/carbon is a lil dull.
I think the black would look better with red harnesses Anyone know if there is a dealer launch in the near future where they will have different color cars?
Hope they dont sound like the challenge car that looks to have a similar exhaust setup and to be honest it dont sound any better than the stock 430
I would recommend emergency medical intervention for your hearing! Short of an F1 race car, there is nothing more exhilierating than hearing an 430C at WOT, or running through the gears....
sorry i gotta disagree. The 430 Challenge is far too quiet and the 360 Challenge sounds much better and louder. btw - somewhere I have a video from Sears point ..sorry "Infineon" raceway..when the 2 cars ran side by side..
True -- the 430 is quieter to comply with noise abatement issues, but the *quality* of the sound is still very nice ....
Don't know what 430C car you have been listening to but your wrong mate, my ears are fine, you may need to turn your hearing aid down a bit, recently at Oulton park track day CS cars stood out as the F1 sounding cars you could pick them out blind folded most on stock exhausts, one new 430C circulating sounded not much different to the other 430,s both out on track and in the paddock bit disappointing IMO.
Maranello's usually put on a display for new models last time it was at some fancy golf club, will keep you posted if I hear anything.
actually, the 430 sounds a bit "dry" to me, and not quite as high pitched as the 360. still feel the 355 sounded the best among this group of ferraris, and as far as "f1 like", don't you think the Carrera GT sounds most like an f1 car?
You are correct. The 430 Challenge is very quiet as it has to be for today's namby noise nazis. The 360 CS actually sounds miles louder and that is a road car! I trust the F430 Scuderia will be similarly entertaining. But the F355, particularly with a Tubi and de-cat beats them all and sounds closest to an F1 car, although as you say a Carrera GT is better still.
