    Hi Roy:

Terry and I have worked together on a number of deals, not the least of which was a pretty significant 166MM. He is a great guy, as well as a great resource. Its a shame that the internet tough guys that sometimes hang around here have given him a hard time. It would be ashame to lose his input, just as we have lost others.

You know that I have gotten into classic and modern Ferrari sales and brokering because I really enjoy the cars and the people, but sometimes it can get a bit frustrating chasing shadows, as well as dealing with clients who are demanding something special......and when you produce the impossible, they vanish, or try to go around you.

The 'black Enzo' has definitely been a challenge. I have some pretty cool stuff right now (Daytona Spyder, SWB, Mac F1), but alas no black Enzo!

Just did a quick Google. I don't know how reliable this is, but it's got a phone number you can try calling. Let me know if it works out.

There are some shysters out there... but I don't think you are one of them, Terry.

Wondering how that search is you have looking for a few cars for a friend is going... there is an Auction with one of the cars coming up, and a few names I passed along from So Cal for a Lusso... and the F50 isn't yet where offered value... like all things in car collecting, eventually what you are looking for comes up for sale... unfortunately, the market is saturated with buyers ;) if thats unfortunate ;)

Is it Dino who has that F1 for sale... I should call up a friend see if he's still interested in one. I'm not sure if thats still a goal of his or not.

Can one of you “experts” tell me once an for all how many factory black cars were built (Euro/US split)?

and don't say "search" because it gives lots of different answers

If you are going to use this post for crass personal gain, I suggest you quit insulting people. Silly user name? When I signed up, the forum ASKED me for a user name. And, if we are giving gratuitous "plugs" for business, I will tell you that I used Steve Ahlgrim in my search for a car and he was the best I have ever used. I have not talked to Steve in a couple of years, but if you are looking for a car, you might try Steve.

And your specialty is in logging onto enthusiast-based web-sites asking for help? You of all people should know how difficult it is to find one of these cars.

You should first talk to every dealership you can and get multiple people working for you on finding this thing around the country, then talk to importers to see if there is one outside of the country or one just imported. This is not uncommon. Rayda Sinni heads up a dealership in Ontario called 'The Car Experience' and can find anything. Anything. A great guy who will bend over backwards to help you or simply point you in the right direction. His is the dealership that has - in stock - Mercedes CLK GTR, MC12, and a Veyron. He's your guy.

Inside the country I would talk to the big-players. ie, Ferrari Ft.Lauderdale, FoW, Ferrari of Long Island, Symbolic Motorcars, Miller Motorcars etc.
