My Porsche was destroyed in a truck collision.

Jesus christ, the guy that rear ended the truck died R.I.P him and
R.I.P the Porsche I never knew.
The porsche apparently flew of the back of the truck (it was the car in the back). They couldn't find the driver at first, but then they found pieces of him in the forest. I've been trying to find pictures of the guy that passed away and any possible remnants of the car but have had no luck so far (anyone in nebraska?)

I’m very sorry to hear of this tragedy, the loss of life and property.

The car can be replaced and good luck on the trucking company paying for your car. A board member a couple of years ago had his fall off a truck and it took a big fat law suit to get them to pay for it.

wow, how will your insurance company take this. no offense but thats what happens when you dont wear a seatbelt.

 

The carrier was fully insured, but I'm not sure what the driver of the semi that hit it was delivering and where he was going.

 

My sympathy goes to the family. That was a beautifull Porsche too....tragic

edit: nevermind, the black color, black wheels, rear wing, and tinted brake lights threw me off. Different cars.

yeah, looks like the one that an FCHATTER put up on ebay and someone got a freast deal...

 

I just found out that the driver had a wife and 3 children (4, 2 and 2 months old). My heart goes out to them :cry:
