Basiclly what he does for a living is he owns a insurance agency that sells to 40% of the population of Oakland county, his sons have cars to but they drive matching porsche turbos and thier names are lessley and lauren. hah. oddball family but trust me, he drives those cars, he recently went up north in the ac cobra, and has 15000 miles on the slr.

 

Mike, I was filling up on gd. River last night, and who drove by but Tim in the 355 spyder... still looks and sounds great! It's been quite some time since I've seen him around... but, I've spent a lot less time out in town.

 

Thanks for the info man, I'll definitely keep an eye out for the rest of his collection. In fact, yesterday I was down there at Big Rock and there was a blue DB9 Spyder parked in front, so I turned around and it followed me down Maple and into Downtown. Maybe that was him too?

Anyways, even though Big Rock is one of the best places to see exotics, I'm not a big fan of it because the cars are parked far away from the road and when I'm taking pics I like to not draw attention to myself, which is hard to do when the valets are staring at you right next to the cars!

 

I'm glad he had it out, too bad he didn't join us fur the drive yestreday. My drive didn't end until nearly 7pm .what a day!

 

his db9 is grey/silver and its a coupe.

 

a 308, or 328 (sounded like a 308 to me... and I only caught the rear end from a distance going the other way from me) on Saginaw in Gd. Blanc, and a Alfa spyder 2.0 FI in the same area.

I saw the new 2008 cts in white today at somerset macy's parking lot and i must say its fantastic looking. when at the auto show it didnt look right in red but in white it looks muscular and agressive, just what cadillac needs to get that extra boost in their sports sedan sales. BTW a week earlyer, a doctor whos wife works as head of tranny drivetrains at cadillac came by my dads office when i was there and guess what he brought? the cts-v. it was in black and he said it had 550 hp and a 6 speed auto transmittion but he says it may not be that way for long due to wear and tear issues. he gave me a ride and i was flat out astonished, it will blow away the m5. any gm performance guys out there right now think that the zo6 is fun, wait for the caddy, its silly.

Monday:
Yellow Lamborghini Diablo on Livernois and Big Beaver around 7:30. I tried to follow it but it got away.

 

I thought the 2008 CTS doesn't come out till Fall..at least thats what Cadillac's website says.

 

they are already all over s/e michigan..as is the 2008 Vettes with the LS3...

Sometimes they are released in sept/oct, other times early like mid summer as a 2008 model

 

cool...i'd love to see one. Perhaps i'll check the local caddy dealers.

 

I see one every time I go to Milford. It seems if you want to see whatever GM has got coming, go to Milford at the end of the day when the engineers are heading home.

Saw a red 360 today getting on 496 going east right on the Grand Ave. on-ramp. Gave you a thumbs up as I was crossing the street on the way to class. Nice looking 360.

This time I asked about power, he said it had the 440 cubic inch stock engine but he was planning to modify it. I didn't remember how much HP he said, so I thought I'd just check Wikipedia, but it turns out there were two 440 cubic inch engines, so I don't know if it's the 375 hp one or the 390 hp one.

Edit: I forgot ... he did open the hood up for me and I got a picture of the engine so I'll upload that later, so maybe someone can ID it. I'll do that tonight or tomorrow
