    When I imported 0846 into Italy it had it's proper NY Plate 330 P4 and old MO 53 "Plate" painted on the rear. The Italian Custom Authorities inspected the car and entered her. Under licence plate they listed "MO 53"

    It's really amazing what you can do to or with a car in Italy which would never be possible in another European country (or even ANY other country). I once read about two journalists taking out a factory owned Alfa for a spin. Being far too fast, they soon caught the attention of the police. When the two Carabinieri looked at the car's papers and saw it was registered to Gianni Agnelli, they quickly gave the papers back and wished them a pleasant drive. That's Italy!
