My Brother "MR FERRARI" is going and when I told him that there is a big Countach Reunion his reply was...

"No it's Ferrari's big show and it's their big party"

Countach. In the days when I was last involved in the actual organizing we had 25 Miuras lined up for the Reunion in 2000 (7 years ago)beforehand. 27 showed!

Im not hearing half that number of Countachs. Pity, because there are way more of them.

I thought it was sold?? Unless the new Euro owner is allowing you to display it one last time prior to shipping out of the country??

I have planned on bringing a Countach but given the rather poor response from Countach owners that Concorso is reporting, I may be inclined to take another (unmentionable) car to another event that weekend. I havent decided. Or maybe I will buy a Countach from Roy and he can show it for me at the event (please Roy)...

I cannot show My Miura SV as Im told previous years winners have to skip a year.

All my cars for the auction are now at the shop in Gilroy, in case anyone want to go by a preview them....let me know.

Oh no, the F40 (like the Miura SV) is absolutely NOT for sale - I made that mistake once before a long time ago...

BTW, can you sell 1121036? Let me know what is a good net number to you.

NO I ment bringing it to the show...I would not sell it either...

I accept that I am not the most knowledgeable kid on the block and I make my share of fair mistakes....but I DO listen to suggestions and go from there...

A while back a very wise man (Joe) told me, that there are just some cars you have to keep and not sell...I on the other hand have always said ANYTHING is for sale for the right amount....HOWEVER I have changed my thoughts somewhat over the last few months..

There are some cars I just at this time in my life do not want to part with...of course they wont go to the grave with me...so when it gets to where I cant enjoy them any longer thats when they will go bye bye...thanks for the insight Joe.

We can talk at Concourso about #36, you need to see it first and how it has been cleaned up and is ready for fun!! I have only put like 5 miles on it so far...will be heading down to Gilroy a week early to play with all the cars prior to going to Monterrey...

#36 JUST may be one of those almost to the grave cars...

    Good to hear!
My Dad and I along with two friends are heading out on Thursday 17th. One of my friends coming along sold his 360 and is taking a look at an SV at your Gilroy shop so I am happy to hear that your cars will be there. Which LP400S will be there? When will you be there?

I counted 10 Countach variants on the Concorso list. That doesn't seem so bad. Am I missing something?

They (Jim Heady & the Lamborghini Club) were hoping for 40 - 50 cars. We had 27 Miuras in 2000, and the Miura is 3 times as rare.

Still, youre right 10 is not bad, and there will likely be more too.

Hello all. This is Gary, De993's husband. She usually responds on this thread, but I thought that I should say that we are definitely bringing our LP400s Series 1 (112038) to the Concorso. I just haven't had time to register it. I will soon. We've been busy fine tuning it and things are really coming together. Carb settings, timing, fuel pressure etc. It's still not much to look at. After Monterey, the restoration begins. This car is the greatest. Who needs mufflers? I told Deshawn that she now has the Diablo Roadster(which is also coming to the Concorso) and the Countach is mine.

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you folks and trading some quips and insights into these cars. The beers are on me.

    Gary

Looks like there's a decent mix of old and new. For me, that makes it worthwhile right there. I personally think that seeing the evolution of the car will be more interesting than seeing 20 of the same series, for example.
