Then again, hitting both Barbara and her daughter would be a great-Canadian accomplishment! :D

Yes, I believe so. I've never been at the upper hall myself, must have been fun with all that great food (and drinks) too!

Hi I am toying with the idea of moving to Halifax (my wifes family is there and she would like to live closer to them) I am a mechanic and am wondering if anybody in the area can tell me what the job market is like? Calgary is just getting to be too expensive.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Hi guys, not to hijack this thread :)) but I wanted to just remind all that the fundraiser for the Children's Make A Wish Foundation is on Sunday Aug 12, from 12-5. I'm getting the Dino and the 328 polished and detailed this week! Tom will have his hands full getting the cars perfect! Hope that all of you can join us. It's for a great cause, so tell everyone you know to come! For more details see the sticky http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158283 and www.audioexcellence.ca.

By the way, finally had a chance to take the Dino out this year...for the first time! What a blast!

Thanks to all, now back to our regular programming!

    Best

Easy to do when you sell the F1 team a year later for 50M profit...or something like that wasnt it ?

Takes money to make money :D

It also helps when Alex Schnaider OWNS the development...Donald Trump is only selling his name and 'brand' for use on the development. Shnaider is the $$$ behind the entire project. ($500 million total project cost).

Rick, he paid approx $50 Mil for the race team and sold it a year later for $109 Mil.

But no big deal (For him). It was easy to buy that condo even before since he is worth $2 Billion. ;)
