    After months and months of hard thinking whether I should trade in my beloved 997 with a F430 or not. I've taken all the pros and cons of undertaking such a maneuver and came out with a decision of, well... to keep my 997 for the moment and save up my money for the F430 successor.
    Everything was now all clear in my mind till the day Ferrari introduced that monster! Although I knew that the introduction of a lighter, more powerful 430 was coming, I didn't payed quite a lot of attention to it. But now, since it became reality, I couldn't but surrender to that beauty...
    After a week spent at my Ferrari dealer, I finally placed the order for a 430 Scuderia! :)))))))^^^
    We're 6 already to have placed orders for the SC, I'm 4th in line, but still to be confirmed the number of SC allocated to Lebanon.
    Crossing my fingers and hoping that Ferrari will allocate enough SC for everybody!

    My specs are as follow (and subject to change according to your advice):

    * Exterior: Rosso Corso
    * Interior: Sport seats in fabric material
    * Instrument panel - Yellow
    * Red calipers
    * Ipod connector
    * Carbon Fiber with led steering wheel
    * Racing Stipes (definitely)
    * Rims in cold color
    * Special stitching STC2 Rosso
    * Tires pressure Measurement

    What's your feedback?

    I placed an order for my Scuderia today.

    I have been given the chance to see one before I finalise the specs but I suspect these will be similar to yours. I am a little undecided if to go with the red two tone seats or black on black with red stitching.

    George, sounds a decent spec but I've not examined the full options list. Know the wheels divide many but I think the gold are a nice nod to the 70's racers. On the right colour exterior, like red or black, will work well.

    Paul, has your dealer shown you a UK options list yet? Not heard anything from mine.

    Any news on first UK car deliveries? I'm not bothered about being first but hoping to have it for start of 08 trackday season so April/May good.

    al70 nothing as yet regarding UK options. I've been using PMC No. 10/2007 released to dealers by Andrea Ferrari. Your AD should have one!

    I haven't been given confimation on delivery of RHD cars. I've heard of some LHDs been offered by well known non-official dealers in the UK during 07.

    I'm also happy to wait.

    What sort of numbers are the dealers telling you? Are your individual dealers getting 1 car? 5 cars? 10 cars? Do they even know their allocation?

    Beautiful car, congratulations. Great color choices...the only thing I would change is the color of the calipers...they would look even better in yellow!

    From what my dealer told me (hr owen) They have taken 40 orders and not looking to deliver to every customer.

    Lebanon has surpassed all wars through it's existence. 17 years since the war has ended in Lebanon. We have managed to stood up ounce again and prove to the hole world that we're getting back as a distinctive place in the region.
    Investing in our country, trusting it, buying luxury items & co. is our way to say no to war, no to terror.

    Does anyone knows what the following two option on the US order sheet are?
    BATA -- Followed by a a bunch of different Alcantara colors--
    INTA -- Also followed by a bunch of different Alcantara colors
    They are obviously different choices for the interior, but what parts?
    The two options are not incompatible with each other.....

    Good to hear. I'm glad for you and your country. I was just awestruck by that suicide bombing that killed one of your most influential figures last year (Don't know much about him though). I'm not really up to date with the situation, that's all.
