Looks sharp Matt... maybe front needs to be lowered a bit, or its just the way the car is parked?

that's the ghetto method, which i would never do to my car. i'm saving up for a couple months for coilovers, then i'll be good. the car is parked on a slight uphill in the photo, it's not that bad in person.

Nah, you can lower it without coilovers. Most people do that, nothing wrong with that.

Shouldn't you be asleep under a bridge somewhere?

Seriously -- you don't need coilovers to lower the car. Until you get the COs just lower the damn thing already -- it's not right to make it look so 4X4!

Hey Matt......Sweet ride. Great choice in color. Dont listen to this uneducated bull****. Lowering the car is sweet and it will look hot. But Coilovers are gonna create quite a harsh ride. If your not taking the car to the Road Courses on a regular basis, your gonna find the Coilovers OVERKILL. Start by lowering it and maybe swapping out the shocks for C6Z06 shocks. Which happen to be quite economical. Just my opinion, not like it counts with this crowd!

The car looks great as it is, but too many think it requires lowering. Do whatever pleases you.

Matt>>> the car looks fantastic... I love the wheels... IMO, you should do a red line around the outer lip of the wheels and black out your tail lights... otherwise she is HOT!!!

Thanks for the kind words boys, I know i need to lower the damn thing, and waleed, i'm considering the pinstripe around the wheels.

Naveed, will your stock ZO6 stuff fit my car? And if so, is it any lower than stock C5 ride height? If so, maybe i'll just throw it in there for now...

I think the car looks great. I was always a big fan of that body style, I would prob. go coilovers too instead of ghetto lowering method. While Im sure its no problem to lower that way, I would think a few bucks spent on coilovers would be the way too go. However, lowering it ghetto method style would probably not affect your warranty, while as replacing with coilover def. would void that part of the suspension.

Yes, the stock Z06 C6 Suspension will fit. But I dont think it lowers the car at all. I have them in mine, and still had to have the car lowered about an inch or so.
