Looking for Models of 328 GTS

If you are looking for plastic kits to put together, there are the 1/24 Hasagawa 328 GTS and GTB's. They don't make these anymore but pop up on ebay from time to time. I have one of each and they are very detailed,realistic kits. There are also a few 1/43 resin kits out there with the same availability. But if you're looking for ready made 1/18 diecast, can't go wrong with CavallinoModels!

Lets start with the small ones.You can always try to get the BBR or MR models for the price of your left hand but IXO makes a 1:43 scale 328 which is worth every penny of the $35 it costs and delivers a very nice quality. I believe replicarz.com can help you there or try EWA.com. 1:24 by hasegava are real gems if you hunt one down on e-bay. There are two kind of models though since some come with photoetch parts and some don't. The photoetch parts meke for a front grill that BBR can dream of.
For 1:18 you have two choices. Anson made a 328 GTS years ago in red, yellow and black. They are of pretty good quality considering the era of their release. They are not made anymore for at least a decade but you can find them on e-bay. They cost a pretty penny (because they are extinct) but if you are patient good deals come around. If you really want the best 328 in 1:18 then look for a Kyosho. they only made them in GTB trim and in red, black and yellow. They originally were $50 a pop which is a steal for the quality of the models. However there were only 5000 of each color made so they are not easy to find by any means, but they still appear on e-bay from time to time. I would not pay more than $100 for one.
Now, if you can wait a little, Kyosho is supposed to release a GTS which I assume would be available in the same 3 colors. It should be out by the end of the year an you should be able to get it brand new for about $85. I am sure that Cavallino would have them when they come out and run an F-chat special, which also usually includes free shipping.

 

my 328 diecast so far. still looking for the anson in black. the three 1:18 on the left are anson, the three on the right kyosho. did anson and kyosho make all three colors with black and tan interiors? anybody see any i'm missing? thanks.

Has anyone noticed, as I have, the error on the Kyosho 1:18 328GTB? The thin upper section of the rear bumper is black and it should be colour coded to the paintwork. I have some Kyosho models and they're amazing which somewhat bids the question, how could a company that pays so much attention to detail have A: made such a glaring error in the first place and B: not corrected it since?

 

We are out of Red model in Anson. Kyosho will have a red one by the end of the year. I will post info as soon as they ship.

Nobody has made a blue 328 GTS model, have they?

 

HECO modeles did a blue one in 1:43 some years ago ref 154

 

I received my 308 GTS QV yesterday from Cavallino. Very happy with the service, price and all. The model is fantastic like all the kyoshos I have. But yet again I am puzzled as to what is the matter with them. They made a fantastic job or recreating the grille on the engine hood and even went the length to include the mesh underneath. Yet they molded the rear windows grilles shut and then painted silver lines to look like glass. WTF??!! And the reason why I am writing this here is because you can see on the posted pictures that ANSON molded those same window grilles open some 2 decades ago on a model that ,even it was good at its time, can not mesure up even close to the Kyoshos. I just hope they fix it with the 328 GTS when it comes out.

 

Also the same goes for the front hood which has its grille open on the anson model (clearly visible on the picture of the purple one)
