    Yes very good news...

The car will first arrive at an airport in South Cali, where Audi have a current hanger for "other" test cars coming in for the show...approx 1 week prior. It will then be trucked up to the show. There is also another "suprise" in the making...I cant not reveal or my sources would "skin" me alive!!

Now that you mention it I remember the article. Quite possibly have it in a box in storage. I seem to remember the last Australian 512BB sitting unsold in the showrooms for 2yrs for $105,000 Australian around that time.

That is one of my dreams, to recreate the LP500, i live in hope that some multi millionaire Countach fanatic shares this dream. That would be great to see her re surface phoenix like.

I want to see the front winged Cannonball run car, but then again who doesn't. Will she be present? we can but dream.

    Now you're talking!

Probably would have to jack up the radiator cap (or some other fire resistant part) and roll a whole new car under it.

If this surprise is to be revealed at Pebble Beach, I'm glad I will be attending.

As Jay Leno described The Pebble Beach Concours de'Elegance

Funny you should mention that. This took place today. Great story, nailed doing 70 in a 50. End result no ticket and I sent the officer copies of the photo. :)

PS This car will be at Concorso.

A bit of a technical question - doesn't the front wing greatly interfere with the lights??

    Joe,

    Is that your car?

Can you confirm that the owner has no interest in selling?

    Thanks
