I test drove an 07 Gallardo Spyder this weekend, and was very impressed with the drivetrain, power, performance, handling, and the amazing sound it makes. Less impressed with the lack of luggage space ((AWD takes up a lot of the front luggage area) and no room behind the seats. Overall a nice package, exciting and something new to try for a few years. I was tempted, but in the end I will probably keep my 360 for a while longer, and hold out for a 430 a bit later. I am not-quite ready to cross over to the dark side quite yet.

Anybody else make the switch? Thoughts would be appreciated for those of you who have made the move.

Ok, the color combo of the Lambo is perfect for you, at ********* are a guy who has done that trade, and here in the lambochat, also I think, the Lambo is a other Story than a Ferrar, It is a V10 with more power but fas like the F430 (or slower?) But if I were you that is the right choice. The Ferrari has more style in my eyes and you have done very nice mods, so the F360 from is a good car for a big while, wait for a F430 and you will be happy.

PS: Ha syou some pics of your new Mini?

Thanks, I'll gheck over at ********* as well. I wasn't sure if this post would have been better on the Lambo chat section in this forum? I'll give it a couple of days to see if it works here. The F430 would be a bit rich right now at market prices, and It is still not possible to order one the way I want it. It takes some of the fun out of the game if ....."you can't always get what you want...." but this one had the right look, or I could order an 08 to my spec with the carbon stuff and dfferent wheels, and a three yr warrenty. FYI, picking up the Miin in a day or two, pics to follow.

Terrific looking lambo! I enjoyed the hospitality at Lamborghini Carolinas this weekend as well. Very tempting to switch after having to hassle with FNA over Ferrari warrantee exclusions.

That is a sweet looking car and none of us could blame you for taking atrip to the dark side but you'll be back!

I drove a Gallardo for a few months. I still prefer my 360, the Gallardo is a great car, but still love the lines of my 360.

This is the first time I've seen pictures of both cars (in substantially similar colors) together. I agree the Gallardo is a nice looking car, but I find the 360 to be much more striking. It looks particularly good in that color. Stick with the F-car is my vote. But that opinion is worth precisely what you paid for it! Good luck with your choices.

Wow that is a really great looking 360

I sold my old 360 Spider to get a Gallardo Spyder at the start of last year.
The Lambo is a much better car to drive, but then you would expect that given that it’s effectively a competitor of the 430.
However I also have a 430 coupe and I think it’s a better car than the Gallardo, it’s just that the Lambo looks so much better.

I'd take the Gallardo over the 360. Both are great cars, but the G is a much better performing car than the 360. Looks wise, I'd take the Gallardo. I have both the G and F430. I enjoy driving both.

The biggest down fall to the Gallardo is it's worthless so called trunk. It has room for next to nothing!

Thanks fo the comments, Im still going throught the motions, but two issues remain as sticklers.

    1. Lack of cargo area. The Lambo would be tight for a weekend of one, and virtually impossible for two. I've got other choices for weekend ventures but my 360 had had a full trunk, and full seat back on a number of trips. It would be a compromise to take the G.
    2. I've attended about 8 FCA events over the past couple of years, including both the 06 and 07 (end of the month) Annual meets. If I sell the 360 I'm out of the club, so to speak...and although the Lambo would be fine for my local events, and regular crowd. The official events would be off limits. I won't be making it to the Running of the Bulls in CA anytime soon. Have to decide if it's important enough to matter.
    3. Style-wise Im still a fan of the 360, but somthing different would be nice for a couple of years....just for the ske of variety. I've been told many time to "keep your wife and change your cars.... It's cheaper by far" :) Definatly good advice.

I have to say your 360 is a grreat looking car, but why not try something different? they dont loose as much value, so take a stab at owning a 10 cylinder machine.... just make sure its in a color close to rubino but heres a warning, if its rosso vik you want be careful, body shops take up to 2 months painting your car just for rock chips because of the complexity of that pearescent color.

I preferred my 350 over the G car. The g car has some pluses more power and sound and I like the looks as much maybe more. In the end I bought a F430 instead. i think it handles better.

    I would own either
