    i never been in Salamanca, in the futur i will go there and other places for visiting Spain.
    next travel in 10 days, Where? i don t know at yet...i like to go free without planning.

    What it rained in Vegas? ; )

    Here are a couple of recent photos

    I finally got a good tripod since my piece of poop got knocked over and broke. I went with an Italian made Monfrotto with a Monfrotto quick release head. Nice piece. I can't believe they sell the bags seperately!

    What it rained in Vegas? ; )

    I went for a month traveling all of Europe with no plan, just a EuroRail train pass, to a different city everyday. A fantastic time. :)

    i made Thailande there 17 ans Years before in Train north south and east west....Arghhh i would like to have 20 Y O and turn back
    doing the same. I did it also in Spain Andalucia WONDERFUL MAGIQUE afther that i decide to live definitively in Spain...imagine.

    all pics taken was made with my Olympus reflex, long work for scaned that.. i will tried with some of them.

    Dorchester was a small village founded in 1696 about 25 miles northwest of Charleston by settlers from Massachusetts. In those days, the Ashley River was an important "highway" for transporting goods inland from the seaport. Dorchester had a church, several dozen homes, and a fort that overlooked the river at this strategic location. The town never rally prospered, and the inhabitants were unaccustomed to the long, hot, humid summers. After less than 60 years years, roadways (which bypassed the village) began to replace the river as transportation arteries, and Dorchester was eventually abandoned in 1751. Today, all that remains are the ruins of the fort and the church tower, seen in the photo. The churchyard has many gravestones dating from the early 18th century.

    The Ashley is very quiet these days, but it's easy to imagine what it must have been like 300 years ago, as boats loaded and unloaded their cargoes at the busy river wharf.
